Haha~ this post came sooner than i thought.. But anw i'm in my school's COM LAB now..E-test coming up in...........2 hours 25 mins.. haha~ So decided to blog while i choose the material to print for my open book E-test later... Ok..for those who totally have no idea what i'm talking about..

E-test is basically like a mid term test for my EE2009 Signals module with 10 MCQs.. And if u google for it..u're bound to see some blogs talking about it...and the words that ppl often use to describe it are: "Legendary", "Fail", "No point". Haha i'm not lying..it seems that its not so much of an open book test.. rather, it is a test that tests u on ur concepts about engineering..

Even the lecturer says.."Its ok to fail. The average is usually 2 - 3 marks". Thanks for the advice Dr. Ko! (Who happens to be a super hilarious professor whose lecture i enjoy immensely.. and thats no sarcasm) He always has his own set of weird but practical philosophies.. like recently he said "U dont need to know everything to do something! You all learn about the electron?? *pause* But has anyone even seen it anot??" Haha..if u think about it..it totally makes sense..

And then he always say "Life is complicated!" and "We're lazy!" and thats when he will cancel out something from the book and say "Not tested! No point! Too Difficult!" haha~ how cool is that?? A professor that takes out things that are no point!! And if u think about it..we've indeed learnt alot of things that are NO POINT! Think about those experiments u've done before in school...did it REALLY help u in ur studies now? KCL, CuSO4...haha i dont use that in programming definitely..

Anw..u get my point..haha..

So i really enjoy his lessons and i think he's one of the best lecturers i've seen in NUS! Practical and teaches only the things that are useful in LIFE, and not just anything in the syllabus...

kinda remind me of Jean Lee in AJC though..haha..she also takes out those things that are useless to know..haha i like this kind of teachers :D

Ok side tracked alot! Back to the E-test..

So like i said..its testing our concepts and seemed like it has nothing to do with the textbook... Like one of my friend(Dom) told me: "I searched one of the questions and its a question from a year 4 ADVANCED Signal module of some university..." Wow.. it sure is legendary..

Hmm let me give u an idea of what the test is like... (Based on the examples he used in the lecture..) Try to answer these questions.. And see if u can even get these 2 "simple" questions right...

Btw they are not exactly the same as what he really asked cause i cant rmb the exact words..but its the same concept and idea and question type...

Yes danny, u're right... I usually tag in ur blog right after i update mine..lol~ But i guess this time 'it' crept into me again...haha i mean my laziness to blog...

I think the thought of wanting to blog with pictures always makes me blog later..and this usually leads to me procrastinating like mad to a point of no return.. But i've got this feeling that i'm not the only blogger that reacts this way...think alot of ppl usually have this inertia to start blogging when there are too many fotos to post..lol~ And on the other hand..those ppl who blog without pictures will update almost everyday and some even a few times a day...haha~ it must be a trend..i know it..

After walking around and looking at various places...we found this newly opened cafe-restaurant! And it was so cool! As in the prices are affordable, there were fewer people since its new and the ambience was sooooo good! At least we thought it was really great...

Officially a podcaster and a busker!

Whats with the number of tags?? Lol~ Anw i'm back again~

I'll talk about my podcast and busking thingy in a while..

But first..some fotos of what i did one day after my exams.. late..but its better to be late than never :P

Had a haircut..Much neater now..but of course its not something new or anything...

After that, went to collect my beverly hills chiwawa dog-leash which i won from xin.sg (Pls refer to previous previous post)

It was a super hot day that day...walk and sweat, walk and sweat...thanks Jinjin for pei-ing me go all the way to mediacorp to claim it..

Anw after collecting my cheap, no i mean free, dog leash, jinjin and i went to the place nearest to town...

Toa Payoh..

Lol~ Cause we realised that ALL the bus (other than the one we took) went to the west!! For some reason..there wasnt any SINGLE bus that goes to town or anywhere near...and it was really toot hot that day! So out of frustration..i decided to just go toa payoh..haha but it wasnt a bad choice in the end!

Shopped around the interchange with jin..and she found this super nice bag for only $16.. didnt take foto of it..but it really fits her alot! And since she's also looking for a new bag..she bought it :)

After that went to play arcade with her...tried to complete time-crisis 3 using one token but still cant past the end of 2nd stage yet.. (Time crisis 2 was so much easier..can complete maybe 5 times with a single credit..lol) But haha guess i still got so much more training to do..although TC4 had been out for maybe 2 3 years already? lol~ oh well..its all about the fun~

Remember i talked about street busking sometime back? And for those who still dunno what busking is..its actually the proper term for street performing..(think about those auntie and uncles who sing around mrts or near temples...) Yup..thats what street busking is...but of course u cant just do it anywhere and anyhow u wan...u have to go thru an audition and a little interview to see if u're good enough and will not affect the public...

Well..i went for the auditions with jeremy in September and we passed!!

Unfortunately we didnt have time to get it till now!

I came, I saw, I conquered!!

Woot~! I came, i saw, i conquered..lol~ finally finished my exams.. but ya ya ya i know most of u all have started enjoying long before my time...so good for u guys..and now good for me too! :D

Today was maths paper~ I think 1 or 2 tutorial questions came out and 1 or 2 questions are similar to past year's papers...and i practised both! So not too bad..haha but still there were lots of room for careless mistakes and i left 1 part blank too! (i hate cantelivier beams!) so i'm not too sure how i fared..but i'm pretty sure its much better than mid~ much better :D

Lets review this past sem:

What have I learned?

1) Figured out the only way to suceed in university..nothing but hard work...sad but true...

2) Hard work MUST be consistent.. definitely hard to do but still must force yourself..which i'm glad i did...

3) Learned more about the people about me...especially my school mates... some good some bad...i shant mention names..:) aw..dont start predicting or assuming..

4) hmm......

Ah Forget it! Enough of this boring stuff! Its the holidays! (finally) :D

Went to NTU to find jin and pei her do her fyp experiment...haha interesting place...but i ended up charging my PSP and playing it there..haha~ But she brought me to one of their food courts...the western food fried rice is horrible~ lol~ never going to be eating that anymore..

Anw the other stalls were either maggot-infested or opened by greedy hawkers..(info given to me by jin~) Haha...

So after that went to Jin's place to have dinner there...but before that, i intro-ed her to "Reaper" and we watched 2 episodes... A really really great series... Everyone should watch it.. Maybe i'll give a little review on the show... Meanwhile check out the webbie if u're interested...

A simple summary:

Basically, the story begins when a simple worker from a super mart, Sam realised on his 21st birthday that his soul has been sold to the Devil by his parents when he was just a baby(sad). From then on, he had to work as a bounty hunter for devil, catching souls who have escaped from hell.

The series is a mixture of comedy, thriller, sci-fi, shows. The sadistic nature of the devil, the way he tries to act polite and the 3 not-so-cool ghost-busters never fail to crack me up. K la..go watch if u guys are interested ok? Its shown on channel 5 on mondays 11pm also...

Moving back to the dinner at Jin's place, Jin's mum cooked CRAB! whoo~ Wonder if she cooked it just for me..haha and i must say it was finger-licking good! hahaha~ Thanks to jin who digged out much of the meat for me...cause i kept eating the legs..and 2 pincers i think or was it 3? Haha~ nice but horribly spicy...but spicy in a tasty way...superbbbly good! mmm mmm~ :D

Yeeeeeeeup! Today was the second paper (finally) and its 2 down..2 more to go... (i see this all over msn as nicks...lol~)

Anw..today's paper was database systems and i think it was....pretty do-able for me..haha~ I dunno..maybe i just have the database thingy in me..hahaha...kidding...But since i can do it..i've got a feeling most ppl can too...So i also dunno if its gonna push the bell curve to the right...

Hopefully thats not the case...

But if it is going to be that way...I guess i would have to resort to using my OHP-qi-gong which i mastered during my JC days to counter it...

Woohoo! Exams are finally here~ Not being sarcastic here...So why am i happy? Simple! Because once it starts, you know its going to end soon...lol~ Yup...

Anw had my first paper today..my business and technical communication...tried to spot what might come out but only got one part right..and thats writing the introduction to a proposal..the other part i guessed wrong... I thought they are going to make us write out the 'research' part but they made us write out the 'benefits' part instead...but ah well..it doesnt matter..haha since its open book, i did my best and i think i did pretty ok! :D

Sadly, i took too much time to try to "perfect" the answer, which i was warned not to by our lecturers and reminded by my girlfriend..haha..but this time i must say i had a big improvement.. in the past i might have put in much much more effort to perfect everything..but this time i kept telling myself "This is good enough...this is good enough".. and because of that I was able to complete the major portions of the paper :D

Anw the lecturers are super witty...there was a little trick in question 2 that i've got a feeling many people didnt realise it...:P The question is to write a letter after the proposal in question 1 has been accepted. And the proposal was supposed to be submitted by 09 Decemeber 2008! Which means the date in the letter should be after 9 december!! right?? Haha although i spotted it, i dunno if its a significant thing..Nvm..at least i got change accordingly..haha...

I didnt finish question 3 but i did all i could :) And y am i smiling? Cause i asked the people around me and they said "Eh i never even do question 3!" and "Wah no time to do question 3 at all" Wahaha..as long as everyone die together..its good news! Haha..but at least i got write something ba~ :P

So my first paper finally ended with my hands trembling from writing continuosly for 2hours at a speed of maybe 70 words per minute.. And when i went out of the exam hall (Which is Eusoff Hall Function Hall btw... =_= ) i noticed that everyone was playing ji3 go3 ba4...hahaha~ And for those who dunno what i mean...........................too bad~ :P

Kk so after the paper, I met jeremy to go eat and talk...So qiao he was leaving school at the same time..lol~

Went bugis and eat at some zi cha tua..haha...I wonder why we went all the way there to eat at a coffee shop like place..haha~ But anw I had pineapple rice and he had fried rice.. then we ordered you tiao to share...Not bad..but quite oily...

After that we went to the arcade there...and for those who dont visit arcade often... The bugis arcade is one of the biggest arcades in Singapore, and all the new games usually appear there before spreading to the other arcades...

Some games which first appeared there include:

Street Fighter 4 - Superb!

Tekken 6 - and projected on a big screen!

Guilty Gear XX Accent Core! - Favourite but bad experience after losing a challenge at Bugis

Of course there's more games but i dont wanna bore ppl who dont go arcade..so i'll just list a few..

Haha..in the end..i didnt try all these games..went to play some other fighting games..Capcom vs SNK 2.. haha..also quite a new game... Played until quite far but some guy challenged me and my Iori lost to his guile... :( But ppl who know me knows i dont usually back down from an arcade challenge...so I challenged him again!

This time i knew my perfect combination to win him!

In the midst of reading week...

So its reading week..Boring boring boring...I can actually study until i dunno what to study or even know how to continue..hahaha...Exams will start officially on Monday and the first paper's CS2301 - Business and Technical Communication, all about writing proposals, emails, letters and some short questions...Open book and 50%..

I wonder how u can study for such stuff... Lets see..i've read the text book.. read the lecture notes...read newspaper...what else? Haha i really dunno...writing proposal and email is all about format...and since its open book..I really dunno what else i should prepare already..lol.. maybe enough sleep the night before..haha..

Ok ok so i know i have other modules to prepare too...but guess what..i've started on them too..haha but the thing is that the other papers are so far away...the next paper after the business module is my database system one.. and its on Saturday..So i guess that i will most probably forget most of the thing and have to restudy 3 days before again...sigh..dunno how to plan properly..but nvm i'll just continue studying ba...forget then revise..revise then forget..forget then revise........................................................................

Hmm..I was so bored yesterday that i decided to go play battlefield2 with jeremy... Played a whooping 4 hours of lan... actually i didnt really expect to play so long de..but...erm..things just happen...lol... played one hour at one lan shop...then moved on to another because the sound there got problem... then played 2 hours and 10 mins at the other lan shop...

So y become 4 hours? because the person said "Sorry...u exceeded by 10 mins..so have to pay another hour..." =_= erm.. ok... *walks back to our computers* haha...no choice...dont wanna lan le also get forced to lan...so what did we play? FIFA 2007! WOOHOO~

On the way home, we talked quite abit...talked about how we used to impress our other band members in school with our creativity...playing songs that are out of this world...talking about y i didnt get into SAF band in the army...talked a whole lot about making music...

Suddenly became quite emo (of coz now no more le :D)...Its been a really long time since I performed on stage...The last time was during a farewell event in my JC as an alumni.. where Jeremy and I were the ying1 yue4 da4 shi1 (music-man) for the evening. For those who dunno what i'm talking about..we were the 2 people playing the background music for the whole event..(think about those taiwan variety shows with keyboardists at the back) Yup...thats what i'm talking about..haha... We even had a mini concert before that... ahh.. those were really fun memories...

I remember jamming around with him when we were only like...sec 4? Yea...we used to go to carrefour and walk over to the keyboard sections...

From there..all hell broke loose! Haha..we will play almost any songs (nice ones of course) and attract quite a bit of attention..hahaha~ Come to think of it..we were really quite brave..haha but it was really fun...Of course he will be playing the percussions while i play the different tunes ranging from techno to rock to pop to arabian? did i? i forgot le..haha..but it was definitely fun...

Ever since then..i've been hoping that we'll get to have fun performing again...but up till now..I still havent got the chance...lady luck just doesnt seem wanna shine on me...oh well... Hopefully one day..or even better one of the days during the holiday, my hopes will be granted..haha..

Hmm..oh yes..did i mention that i'm now an official street busker?? Haha.. for those who dunno what is street busking...it simply means performing on the streets.. usually music or painting ur whole body gold and silver and standing there like a statue... :P Yup! Auditioned and passed the audition 4 months ago i think..but didnt have time to collect the license...

Went there yesterday before lan session but apparently i couldnt collect it YET..so i'll get it next week i think... will post about it when i finally get it next week or something..

Haha...meanwhile..i think i'm going to go write my MA1506 cheat sheet le... will blog again soon! :D

Today finally met jin jin after 3 days! Woot...studied together in the library and after dinner we went arcade...woot~ WE reached stage 7 for KOF Max Impact...haha y we? cause jin jin plays too! And she uses Ash crimson~ Haha so pro! :D well done~

Welcome to the reopening ceremony for my blog!

Yes yes yes, I'm back! After months of being busy with school and all. :D Changed a new blogskin, featuring Genesis from Crisis Core. Just love the skin :P

Well anw to start off my first post in 5 months, I present to you my wonderful 22nd Birthday Celebration, held on 24th June 2008. And organised by my one and only jin jin :D Ok..i know its really late..but its always to be late than never...right? :P Anw blogging with many many photos have always made me too lazy to start...haha...but i finally did it...so pls enjoy them! Heh~

Moving on, I really really enjoyed myself that day and it was one of the best birthdays i've ever had. Thanks dear! And thanks all who came: Jeremy - bro, Kailin - Sis in law, Hua zai and Kailun (Hua sao).

Enough introductions, here comes the photos :D And some words..lol~

So...the birthday started off with the meeting of my dear on the train. :D She told me she was going to bring me to some place... (ooo..mys-ter-ious) But then i realised we were going to drop off at Jurong East station. AHA! I instantly broke the surprise. She must be bringing me to iceskate! Wahaha..My dear...SO PREDICTABLE!

So, we had our lunch in jurong entertainment complex. I was still smiling and making fun of my dear "Haha...u shouldnt have told me we're coming to Jurong East! Now I know where we going le!" She just smiled...eh wait..she didnt smile...she acted like she was so sad that i guessed it...Hmm..something is wrong...

After lunch she asked me to follow her...So i did. Funny thing is we walked further and further away from the ice skating place. So i looked at her while she was dragging me and kept saying "Eh ice skate zai na bian! (Ice skate is there!)" while pointing to JEC. But she continued to drag me along and told me to "Just follow me..." ok..now i really dunno where we're going...

After walking for 5 minutes...the shops around me became more and more familiar...Wait a minute...i know this place....But it was too late... I've officially been tricked and surprised by my dearest...

"Tada!" So.... Guess where she brought me to...

THE SCIENCE CENTRE!!
Where the Dinosaurs Alive! Exhibition was ON! O.M.G!!!

Ok..i was really happy that day..I loved dinosaurs since young..and she knew it...so it was a surprise for me! :D :D I even saw the exhibition on tv but didnt think i would go all the way to the science center to see it...

Woot! So there.. Just when i thought i was always so good at reading people's mind... I got tricked..by my dear..(ooo...must xiao xin next time...she's so witty...*kidding) Thanks jin!

Then when we got in..there was a demostration on electricity. I'm sure some of you have seen this demo before... Anw this was like the second or third time i saw this..haha and its still on even after so many years. So as the birthday boy... i volunteered to hold the flourescent light stick to see how the electricity flying around will actually cause the stick to light up... And yes.. that lightning thingy there is REAL electricity...

And after that we went to the Omni Theatre to catch the show "Dinosaurs ALIVE!" which was the highlight of this exhibition. We're not supposed to take foto..but hey..I accidentally pressed my camera button. What could i have done...it was an accident!

So..my camera accientally took some pictures on its own..but some quality not nice..so i'll just post one..lol~

Sadly, the exhibition was really really small. In fact it was just the size of a small room. But nevertheless, I still enjoyed myself, seeing all the dinosaurs myself! :D

So after walking around that small room, we moved on to other sections and started playing with all the cool things in the science center...haha felt like a kid..but i must admit i was a happy kid!

Then there was this screen which allows people to sms to a number and your msg will appear there! Jin jin posted a msg for me! (Learning to have more QQ dui ma? :P) And i played with it too...

Too many messages though...haha...

And finally..our own space...

After that, we went to lift some weights and to our surprise..we became really buffy...

Yes..even jin jin...

I bet i looked buffier! ROAR!

Haha..After that it was already evening...and jin jin still had plans for me! She told me to go back to AMK! For some reason...hmmmm.....

We eventually reached AMK and it was pretty dark already...And there...at one of the stone benches, she presented me my prezzies... :D

Unfortunately, i didnt get to take a foto of it..:( But i'll write it in words...

She gave me, in a nice hard paper bag:
- A bag of HAW BALLS! (I really love this stuff)
- A Sony Ear Piece (WOW WOW WOW!)

I was so so so happy to receive so many presents from her...:D THANKS DEAR! :D:D

Lol..i'm back..and i'm not really sure why...haha..I was just reading blogs here and there...then suddenly feel like blogging...so...here i m...:)

Well i was thinking of what i can blog about...so i took out my fone...went thru a few pictures...then decided to just talk a lil about them lo...lol...

After finally accumulating $500 in my XZone VIP TAPZ CARD...i've finally become an MIP!!! So what's MIP? It refers to MOST IMPORTANT PLAYER... :D Yup...Its the most prestigious arcade card ever!! Lol~ and i will have a $10 free play value on my birthday! LOL~ luckily i made it to MIP before my 22nd birthday on 24th JUNE 2008..ahem...*hints*

So anw...i know i know...to most of u..this is just a stupid arcade card...but to me...it signifies the time i've spent playing at the arcades since JC? or was it army? haha i forgot...but nvm that...whats most important is that i've finally converted my card!

Oh oh and to those who still think arcade is a waste of money..u can ask Jin Jin..she will tell you arcade is not a waste of money!! haha *i think* LOL~ well i say that because i always select my games...(which is just about any games :P execpt the dancing games...) So 1 credit SHOULD last me for 20 mins maybe?

haha...ah well...i know its not too long..but its definitely better than ppl who pay 2 tokens to play games that last for 1 min? haha...

Lol...its a picture i took while recording my second song (Xing fu de ding yi~).. I remember that i kept laughing because i'm not used to singing in front of him...so i had to chase him out of the room after he activated the recording...hahaha~ Poor him... But he really taught me a few things about recording...heh...

Anw recently...his house has become a jamming studio for 3 ppl already! And Desmond and I have jammed there 1 or 2 weeks ago..Its really cool!! Here's a view of the studio...

It was hilarious...the whole group of people there suddenly squeezed towards the left to catch a better view...its a totally amazing process where u see one huge group of people slowly shifting from one end to the other...hahaha...

But nevertheless...we had a great time and for the first time in my life...I count down while watching fireworks! and with jin too! :D really enjoyed myself...:D

Irritating People...

Well i'm back... :D Looks like i'm not the only one who havent blogged for sometime...I guess most ppl (in uni) are busy with school stuff and their final term test or something..LOL~ Anyway..it doesnt matter...what matters is i'm back! LOL~

I've been busy with work recently too...and its reading week!! ahh...things get boring during this week...ppl's nick just change and change and change...and the words "DIE" "CARELESS" "WHY" "DYING" "CANT WAIT" "MORE TO GO" appears all over msn...:) well..i just wanna say..hmm...i dunno..jia you? :D yup..okie...jia you!!!

I'm, however, gonna talk about some irritating things or people i've met sometime back.. and one or two recently too :D Whats more..i'm gonna RANK THEM! wahaha~ here goes...

In the FIFTH place

Bugs...Small little bugs which fly around me, like i'm some rotten food or something... Usually..i wan to let them live...I really do..and most of the time i will still tolerate and ignore them...but they just keep flying and flying close to me...and their small little faces seem to tell me something...something like... " KILL me pls..." so its too bad for them....They DIE!

In the FOURTH place

I remember there was once I went out with Jin and saw this malay lady (no racism intended)...Oh and its at clarke quay...while we were waiting for our bus home...She was with her boyfriend and suddenly they stopped near in front of us..I dont remember much of the details but i remember that the girl showing some frowning expression...and then she looked at the guy and said in an extremely whiny voice (which i love to imitate) "I'm tired of walkinggggggggg.............." hmm...if i were to spell it like how she pronounced it..it will be something like "Im tah-yed of walk-kenggggggggggggggg......." in a whiny voice...

Although girls who whine are cute..but her whining is really..whiny...its like..she is totally unable to walk...and she's blaming the whole world for losing her ability to walk and...ok i'm exaggerating..but seriously..i think its normal and perfectly cute for girls to whine...but maybe that was just a lil over the edge...

Ok..i remember le...it was during my engine lab...where we had to use a software called Xillinx to design circuits and stuff...so its not necessarily easy for some pple..but then i remember there was this pair of indian girls (once again...no racism intended...totally) who was sitting behind me...chattering...and they keep talking and talking and talking and talking and talking and talking and ta...ya..u get the idea...

So i was trying my best to design my circuit by following the instructions given to me during the last lab sessions...

Yes..its true...i use my EYES to read and my BRAIN to think of which line to copy from the notes to use them...and I see some pple asking around...thats perfectly fine...but those two blabber mouths behind me started whining to the two guys beside them..I forgot his name..so i'll use a common name (This is a work of fiction and any resemblance between the characters and persons living or dead is purely coincidental :P) I'll call him Gopal...dunno y..but ya..Gopal..

So the two girls started shouting at Gopal "Gopallllll~~~~ Eh?? How to doooo?"

and Gopal replies "Oh u do this and that and then this~"

They try for 1.1 milliseconds

Once again "Gopallll~~ cannotttt...where is that buttonnnnnn~~ Eh? What is happeningggggg"

Gopal helps again..

but it was useless...they just didnt wanna use their heads..."eh..i cannot...what do we dooo~" then they started arguing with each other (i mean the 2 girls)

"Eh u're so stupid u click here..."

"Nooo~ I try already..i click here...ehhhhh what happened?"
"Nooo~ U ask gopal~"

Ok at that moment..i REALLY wanted to turn around and say SHUDDUP and STOP WHINING! and then maybe i'll stuff my mouse into their mouth.. Its really irritating...trust me..

So i was on my way home and since there were no space, as usual, i had to stand all the way...there was a girl on my left..lets call her Ah left... and another on my right...lets call her Ah right...

So it was Ah left's birthday..because i heard their conversation...

So Ah left asks Ah right "Eh? So where u all wanna go eat? Crystal Jade or NYDC?"

Ah right replies "Anything lo~ Its ur birthday leh!!"

Ah left says "Eh but i dunno which one is cheaper..."

Ah right says "I think Crystal Jade is cheaper..but UP to u la..up to u.."

Ah left says " but they say NYDC cheaper leh..."

Ah right continues "ai ya..up to u!! Its ur birthday..why u care so much..its ur treat ma..up to u..up to u.. :D "

So ah left turns to her left to ask her other friends.. and ah right talks to another friend... "Wa that day i went to NYDC..the pasta so nice...bla bla bla about NYDC"

Ah left turns back after discussion and says "Ok i told them already...Crystal Jade lo..."

Then Ah right says "huhhh but i suddenly got craving for NYDC leh..the food there nice leh...ai ya but up to u up to u..."

Then ah left was like stuck again..dunno how to decide...so she consults her friends...

Finally..she turns and decides "Ok ok..confirm already NYDC..."

Ah right then says something which made me extremely irritated...

She says "ehhh..huhh..i tot u say crystal jade already..so i kinda feel like eating already leh....ehh...ai ya..u decide k..u decide..."

TOTALLY IRRITATING!! Say one thing..do another...u wanna let ppl decide then u shuddup and just say OK...simple right? tsk...it was so difficult standing in the middle and not saying anything...but i survived the trip and eventually reached home... :)

FINALLY IN FIRST PLACE

Recently my dear has been bullied by someone in her office...this person makes her do redundant things and i've heard of her extremely irritating attitude...she backstabs and bullies her collegues also...if i was there...i will definitely show her my attitude...

But jin cannot do much..because after all she's an intern and it will affect her grade..and she being a nice person also wont know what to say back...So i really wanna chu this qi for her...I hate backstabbers as usual..especially those who think they are so big and hu jia hu wei (Act fierce because she has backing) This kind of person can only have one use in society...and that's to be road humps...yes...the yellow road humps on the roads for cars and trucks to run across...

Why i put her in first place is because I dont mind if someone attitudes me..but i wont allow anyone to bully my dear...and wanna chu qi for her...So i really wanna tell her something very important...

And stop bullying my girlfriend and her collegues or i'll make u into a road hump >:(

So there...to all these irritating things...pls fan xing fan xing to make this world a better place...

So...lets see... after the test on saturday...i had another test on wednesday (Programming) and one on thursday (Statistics)...and finally i had another one on saturday (Computer organisation)..Next...to top it off..i had to come out with the circuit design for my Engine module by Monday...Lastly i had to complete my programming lab by Wednesday...*sighs* finally finished typing...haha...that was how hectic my schedule was like...wait wait..theres more..

Wednesday and thursday was the fiercest one...

Programming test on wednesday ended at 10PM!!! Yes..u heard it...not PMS...but 10PM!! Lol..it was the latest exam ever...and when some students complained to the lecturer... the lecturer said in a joking manner "4 ppl share cab quite cheap" .. Thanks prof tan...we are so grateful for the tip...

Well as if it wasnt bad enough...my stats test was at 10AM the next morning and my first lesson starts at 8AM...which means i have to wake up by 6...and...i had not much time to revise..since i reached home onli by 11...LOL...woot!

In the end i revised till 1 plus..KO-ed and woke up by 6... :) (at least it was going to be all over)

not...

I went to school for my stats test...went into the LT...checked my seat number..opened my bag to take out pencil box...looked for my calculator...hmm..looked for my calculator...looked for my...O M G!!! Well done Xiang...U forgot to bring calculator during a stats test...

What happened next was amusing.... I ran out of the LT..hoping that a shinigami would accidentally drop a calculator instead of the death note for me...but dont have...so i looked for students instead...STILL dont have...die le...

Looked around...saw an ice cream stall...*thinks* :O thats it!

Ran to the stall and said "Auntie! U got calculator? i never bring my calculator for test!!"

Luckily she has one and its those big square ones..which onli has plus minus divide multiply M+ MC (which I dunno what its for) and the on off button...LOL...no choice..it was my only hope...haha so i brought it in.. but it was very...wierd..cause no one brought in such a huge calculator like mine...LOL..So i onli took it out when i had to use it...other times..i tried to keep it out of sight...:P

And no..it is not SO BIG...this was just a pic i found while i was google-ing "calculator" so that i can show u guys the type of calculator the auntie lent me..and i have no idea who in the world that guy is...but it was on google...so i had to cover that face with my amazing drawing so i wont get sued for using the photo..haha...but now i'm quite lazy to find another calculator pic le..hahaha..so too bad~

Fortunately it was only MCQ and i'm sure i did pretty ok..hahaha :D

So there..my hectic schedule...and not even including the 2 labs i had to finish and another test on saturday...haha but i'm glad to announce...

Yes yes...this post came just a tad TOOOO late..lets see...remaining population: 3 - Cman and Boon tien..not forgetting jin jin if she knows i'm blogging..(She's always the first here! :D) Well..things got kinda busy since post exam...busy with playing..busy with buying presents...busy with celebrating our (jinzi and xiangzi) 6 months anniversary... then there was christmas...new year... jin zi's birthday...school reopen...modules modules and more modules...programming...and...well... term break! so here i m... okok i'm sorry la...really too long never blog and ppl are complaining to me.. in particular jin jin..pei pei.. boon tien...and cman..lol...
Well...its better to be late than never...

Just to start off... I'm studying...for my test tmr...so this post will have no pictures...and just simple updates... but well.. if i'm free..i'll do up the pictures (LOTS TO SHOW U GUYS! =D)if i'm not.... u know i'll be back... SOMEDAY... (ah...although i kinda forgot i mentioned before that i will be a more regular blogger... ah well... u guys know how bz life can get... lol...)

So there...tmr's my EE2006 - digital designs mid term test... kinda relaxing this time...maybe because it has the same topics as one of my other modules, computer organisations...so there's actually overlapping of topics here and there...which makes it kinda easier to memorise..:D

Well..lets see..what happened recently...

Oh..my brother got a WII...yup...the console which requires u to move around to play...

There u go...yup...i must say it's really fun...but it came at a high price though.. a whopping $725 according to him...it came with 3 original games though...Games that i have been playing include Thrillvile (Something like roller coaster tycoon), Resident evil 4 ( If u love blood and gore), Cooking mama (Be a chef!) and Wii play and wii sports which i think came free with the set...most ppl would have seen the tennis game from wii sports... If u havent i think u can go to BEST or any electronics superstore to try..LOL...

I would wanna blog more but i really gotta go back studying (I wonder y i started this post) but i'm sure i'll update soon...i'm sure...

Well well well..its finally OVER! Woot..And to celebrate this event...i've decided to do something special..and thats to increase my font size! Woot...Hope its easier to read this time...LOL...Ahh feels good to have finished one semester in uni...and since exam's over..I believe everyone is finally back to blogging..blog hopping and camwhoring...so here's the post everyone's been waiting for! THIS POST! wahaha!

So...lets start with some after exam activities! :D

Went to watch HERO with jin zi~ Haha...actually i was quite disappointed by this show...initially i thought it would be like Death Note or something like that..cause the trailer seemed to make it pretty interesting...and there was always this tag that said "All time blockbuster in Japan!" Which made me even more tempted to watch...so tempted that i actually asked jin zi to watch with me...BUT sadly...it was pretty draggy...and if it was one episode of an anime..it would definitely be a filler..LOL...

Oh btw its a show about a group of lawyers...Lol..

Here are some of the diappointments:

1) Initially i thought they would be solving a few cases..and one final case which would end with the solving of some case of the century...but the whole show is about....listen to this..O.N.E Case...ZzZZzzZ

2) The characters were not introduced cause it was from a TV series...which apparently i didnt really know initially...so...too bad for me..:P

3) On their poster...they claim that Lee-Byung Hung is acting in this one..but guess how long he appeared in the film...T.W.O Minutes...Ah well~LOL

Okok..but what i can say its nice about this show is that there's some pretty funny scenes and dialogues once in a while..haha...

SO i'm gonna give this film.... 2.5 Stars / 5 Stars! Hmm..wait i'll give it 3 stars instead..since the lead is actually Takuya Kimura...and for those who dunno..he's who we call Mu4 chun1 chuo4 Zai1 in chinese...A.K.A the Gatsby guy...Lol..But hey..to all jap drama fans..go watch it..I wont discourage u..:D

Ah..moving on...

Ok..so before the show...Jin zi and I went gai gai-ing...I was pei-ing jin zi to get some comestics and stuff at SASA in PS when this girl came to approach us...and guess what...She was going to give jin zi a free makeover! :D The interesting thing was that initially Jin zi wanted to buy the thingy to trim eyebrows...and the lady who approached us and ask if she can help jin zi trim her eyebrows..haha so qiao lo~ And so..the make over began!

And Finally after waiting and taking secret shots at jin zi while shes doing her makeover... The make over was done...

Get ready to see the prettiest girl ever...

Pretty right? Well jin zi just looks great before AND after makeover..What else can i say...2 words... Gorgeous..and Attractive!

Oh and here are her eyes...with those glittery thingy~ *Zap~* okok..THATS ENOUGH! Stop looking at her...or i'm gonna start hunting u down..LOL...but u gotta agree that that's one attractive eye...

Heh...

So i continued to walk around with Jin zi and happen to see this pokemon show...and realised how fat and chubby pikachu is..LOL...and somehow we almost watched finished the whole show (We missed the front part)...Imagine..Two 21year old guy and girl (And good looking too! :P) who just finished their uni exams watching pokemon show at PS...LOL~! Ah well..i must say it was not bad..cause the pokemon figures were not just dancing around...they were actually more animated than i thought! haha... Well..here are some pics!

The meowth there actually squatted down to let us take photo..totally cute..LOL...and that alligator pokemon (I forgot his name) kept biting his hand..lol~

Heya..really thanks to all who have shown so much support during this period..and its heartwarming to see ppl coming to tag and adding oil for me..lol..but i guess i'm feeling much better...i even deleted an entry i was about to post up...cause i thought i shouldnt harp on certain things too much..i've thought thru many things..and thought of what i should do and CAN do...for the rest..i just hope it happens... But the thing about me hating school... well.. that still holds...:)

To Boon Tien : lol~ I can sense a tag war starting..lol~ but i will do ur quiz in my next entry..some interesting stuff to talk about for this one..lol..

Well..why dont i start with a movie review...

Watched the game plan with jin zi recently...My overall impression of the show:

1) Heartwarming
2) Family show
3) funny
4) touching
5) Slightly cliche as in the plot is pretty predictable but nevertheless, it was nicely presented..
6) I can consider it a must-watch

Ok..so basically the story is about a super famous football star, Joe Kingston, played by Dawyne Johnson A.K.A The Rock..and how his life was suddenly turned upside down when he realises he has a daughter...Meanwhile, the daughter tries her best to bond with her father and finally taught Joe some very important lessons in his life...I wont say more so go watch it..

Ok..before i carry on..i just wanna say that the last part of my blog is what i witnessed in AMK a few days ago..its the first time i've seen something like that..so read on ya..

Anyway, i had steamboat with Jin Zi and Jeremy yesterday... Well just wanna say how i'm still totally amazed by Jin Zi's good appetite when it comes to buffet or steamboat...And the cool thing is how she enters this trance-like state when she begins..Her right brain will tell her hands to take food while her left brain will eat the food...and that was her state of mind thru out... lol... But okok...actually i'm just exagerating ya...She still talks, laughs and jokes..but...those are her secondary objective..haha..:)

Well..we had so much food...prawns, balls, cuttlefish, vegetables, scallops (fake one), meatballs (Lots of them..and i mean LOTS OF THEM...),liver, Toufu, some Fishcake thingy.. and bla bla bla..steamboat stuff..Basically i started off by wanting to take some fotos before we began..but while i'm doing so..Jin zi and jeremy already started..and they wanted to eat first more than anything else...(Even the 3 fotos i took showed them preparing food...and NOT EVEN LOOKING AT THE CAMERA!) lol.. so.... ya.. we didnt take anymore..and i meant that in the end..there were no pictures taken AT ALL... *gives that =_= face* Oh well.. we had fun..lots of them...dropping cuttlefish and liver all over the place...laughing at Jeremy's talking peanut joke...looking at ppl's trance-like state when eating steamboat *Coughs* and just plain tcs = talk cock session..lol~ Hope we can have another session soon...and when that time comes..i'll take lots of fotos first before anyone begins...grr..

Ok..now to the exciting story i promised...

A few days ago i was going home from interchange after jin zi boarded her bus home..

On the way i saw some ppl on the road..(third lane) and they were moving at a extraordinary speed (ok..thats just to make the story exciting) basically they were just kicking some stuff and initially i thought they were looking at one of them killing a rat or something..but when i walk closer i saw that they were actually kicking and hitting this guy..WILDLY...

Ok..first thought..i better walk off first...and prepare my fone if i need to call police or what...

Then as i was about to walk away, another HUGE group of bengs ran past me...Initially i really thought they were going to stop the fight...maybe pull the gang away from the guy..but sadly and to my surprise...they joined in =_=... Ok...now the guy is really getting walloped BIG TIME...I was alone and couldnt do ANYTHING at all..hmm or maybe i could have joined in...but of course i didnt... and i couldnt save the guy also..cause there was like..say 15 ppl or so..ouch...

This was what i saw:

There was this group hitting the guy with their hands.. Then there was another kicking his head and stepping on him..OUCH.. they didnt hold back at ALL... its like how u would hit your pillow when u're stressed or pissed... Then the remaining guys took some cups and threw at him..

Just when i thought that this guy's gonna die if no one does anything, a malay family just walked past the fight..with the parents holding on to their children..i thought they didnt see or what..but to my HUGE surprise...the malay mother calmly shouted "Police Police!" without considering the fact that if the guys were to attack them...they will be owned...and their kids might in danger...

And to my ANOTHER huge surprise..the gang ran away.. =_= All of them...

Lol... and so there..the malay auntie saved the day... Whoever she is..i just wanna say that i really respect her..but maybe she dared to say it cause there were a few malay guys beside her..most prob the uncles and father...Still...it was courageous la...*applause*

Then after that the guy just lied on the road..with all the cars behind him and stuff...all the cars changed lane and didnt help that guy... and only after a while there was this guy who went to carry him up... but by that time i already walk quite far already... so i didnt really know what happened next...

After seeing this incident, i thought quite a bit...

I was thinking..most of these guys might not even know the guy who was being walloped..but they joined in...all in the name of 'brotherhood'... Kinda sad for that guy right? And i even thought of the sequel to this... enjoy~

Ok..so after they hit finish the guy, Ah seng looked at Ah beng and said:

"Wa shiok man..i just now hit his head like nothing sia~ Eh by the way who is he ah?"

Then ah beng is gonna reply something like:

"Eh? Not u hit him first one meh? I dunno leh..i see u all whack him so i join in lor..."

Then they are gonna ask around:

"Eh..who is he ah?"

And then everyone will show this puzzled face and wonder who started it first:

"Not u meh? Eh? Who ah?"

And then they are gonna start fighting among themselves... The end.. okok watever~

Anw...i'll end the post here..i havent eat breakfast and lunch..and here i'm in NUS Central library typing my blog...i guess i'm just..bored.. dont wanna talk about it..

So many things happening...

Ah..feel like blogging all of a sudden..I'm actually sometimes unsure of what i'm feeling...sometimes i think things in my life are going so smoothly..while other times i think about it and feel that its not really that well after all..Yikes..seem like i'm having contradicting thoughts...

This post is EXACTLY whats going on in my head...those thoughts running here and there..bouncing off the skull in my head...it will definitely sound a little confusing...incomprehensible....crazy...but hey...this is my blog rite? So i just wanna rant abit...haha and hope that maybe someone would understand or something..lol...comments are welcome in my tagboard(Scroll down the left scrollbar)...

Well...many things are happening and not happening...

One of my guitarist in my band, Cheston passed away peacefully recently last Sunday... I attended his wake on Tuesday and met many ppl...yes..i teared when i thought about it on Monday...it was sad...very sad....

Many blogs wrote about this...including kian huat's blog...ppl mourning..ppl crying...ppl missing him...ppl doing special things...ppl coming out with videos and stuff...Yup...y it affected us so much was because of the fact that he's 21...just like us...and there were so much to look forward to... He was a great guy and a talented musician...He had many friends and a loving family...but he had to leave us...where to...we dunno..but i'm pretty sure he went up...and like some of his close friends say...he is most probably playing great music to god..I'm sure god has plans for such a great guy like him...

I want to write more...but i prefer not to think...cause most prob he's in a much happier place now...Y? cause he no longer have to face the stress this cruel society has put us through..he will not have to go thru more backstabbing..more politics, be it in school or office...he no longer have to think about NS...about family problems..about rushing datelines...and putting a mask in front of everyone when he's really stressed up...i believe he's in paradise...and happier...

I dont wan to disappoint him by making this a sad post like everyone..I wan to make my tribute to him more special and practical...I just wan him to know..we all miss him...and he has taught EVERYONE an important lesson...to cherish everyone near u and be nice to ppl u meet anywhere anytime...it can be anyone...the blind keyboardist u meet at Orchard...the amazing singer outside AMK hub...the auntie who walk around to sell tissue paper...or maybe the Customer Service Officer from some hotline...Be nice...and think more for others...

Just when everyone is busy with work in school...and busy making friends...and it seemed like everyone has boarded the raft...ready to drift apart from one another...he seemed to have appeared at the shore and pulled everyone back together...He's that great...and that was proven when so many ppl attended his wake...and so many ppl had tributes to him...by blogging..changing msn nick...We'll never forget him...and he'll always be everybody's friend...Rest in peace Cheston...we'll remember u...

Anw.. many other things have been going on...and its really making me so sian about things that are going on...

I mean...going to school is a torture...i dont wan to say too much here...but to summarise it up..the stress level suck...everything is so fast paced...workload is so heavy..bla bla bla...u read it on every blog and u see the complains on every nick...i'm sure even YOU who's reading this blog now is facing it...but really..it sucks...cant stand it...

I used to have a really great clique in JC..in secondary school..in army...at work..and things were so fun...these ppl who not just fun...i knew i can talk to them when in need..i know they are the ppl who will wan to listen to my problems..and jio me out when they wanna talk..sms me when bored..bla bla bla...but all these seem missing in NUS...i dunno...i wonder if its cause i dont see it...or cant see it...i dunno...aiyz...i would love to appreciate anyone who would be free enough to slack with me when i'm sian..call me talk cock abit..but ah well..i know everyone's bz...so thats y i say...the stress level really suck and school suck more...sorry for the rants...i need to get them off my mind...

Suddenly, i remember how charismatic i always was...always joking..showing magic tricks...saying funny and random stuff...lol...i was always the kai xin guo..ok..this is random...

But of course...there are ppl who were always there and I really appreciate them...more significantly i wanna just mention the two most impt ppl in my life...and thats Jin Zi and Jeremy..they were always there..and they are the ppl who when i'm troubled..i pick up my phone and just dial their number..knowing that they will be ready to listen to me and talk to me...Thanks jin zi...and thanks bro...

Maybe it seem like i dont appreciate my family...but i do...i enjoy every time spent with them...but ppl closest to me..especially jin zi..would know how little time they even spend with me...Coming home to four walls sometimes feel great..because of the freedom..but it has been so many years..and things are still like that...everyone's bz...

Fortunately..I now have someone to eat with...sitting around in the living room...holding a bowl of rice filled with home cooked delicacies...and watching some taiwan show while listening to some funny and noisy conversation...Jin zi...xie xie ni wor...:)

Sorry if things are still sounding random and nonsensical...like i said this are things that are bouncing around in my mind..and i just drilled a hole in my head to let everything pour out randomly...lol...

Just to prevent anyone from misunderstanding that i'm like some problem kid or so poor thing or something like tt...i just wanna say..i'm stressed - yes...i'm quite sick of the lifestyle now - yes..i feel sian about how things are going on now - yes... but i've special ppl i can treasure and cherish and my family still loves me and everything...and i still enjoy chatting with friends and talking to my mum and dad about stuff going on in my life...so..i'm normal..just that things for me are more sian than maybe others...ah well..

There are also things that arent going on...like how i feel like my engine isnt really starting...not my nissan sunny..but i mean my work...seems like i'm still A LITTLE but really only a little slacking..as if nothings going on...but SOMETHING is going on...Programming practical exam (described by our teachers as the most difficult exam in our life in SOC) is next SATURDAY...and i'm still like reading slowly..bla bla bla..i dunno what i'm thinking...

Lol..Ok..think i rant-ed enough...at least for today...

RESIDENT EVIL : EXTINCTION

Here's a trailer to begin with...

And if u realise..its actually a "Restricted" movie...but once movies come to singapore...movies like this take on the following equation : Restricted movie = NC16 + Cut Scenes ..

So there...Ok..tell u guys the truth..I LOVE THIS MOVIE...didnt think i would really like it that much...Initially it was just cause Jin Zi and I wanted to watch a movie..but dont really have much choices..but in the end..it was really a good movie...

Lets see..what does it have..

1) Scary scenes - There was this part where every 1 to 2 minutes there will be one scary scene appearing...ok some not so scary..but it will certainly give u a shock...hmm.. imagine JAWS... the scene where the music goes ta da~ ta da~ ta da~ tadatadatadatada BAM! ok..thats what i mean...and lets just say jin zi and I were shocked in our own way... mine was abit...more...realistic...Haha..i shant elaborate more..so for those who dont understand..nvm..cause its really an internal joke...heh... :D

2) Cool girls with cool kungfu moves - Ok..one thing about this show is that the girls are the heros...the guys are the ugly, pimpled face, rotting zombies... LOL! I dunno who the main char is in real life (her name is alice in the show though) but her fights with the zombies are really cool la~ Lol... and she has a good figure too... Yea...

3) The Zombies - haha..maybe its just me..but i love those zombies...enough said..lol...

Yup...so overall i give the show * * * * out of five stars...:D And dont worry if u havent seen the Resident Evil I and II cause its the same case for me and jin zi..hahaha...and it turned out to be a great show to us also... So I strongly encourage anyone to watch!! Haha...

Hey all...haha..wondering why spammers keep coming my blog..but thanks guys...u guys really liven up the mood around here...but pls post something more comprehensible k? so i dont need to waste time to delete..:D Thanks! Btw to those who dont know..MY TAG BOARD IS BELOW THE LEFT SCROLLBAR! heh~

First it was superstar...which i couldnt join cause i cant REALLY sing...then there was campus superstar...which i didnt join because of (Same reason above)....next there was Superband...which started when my band was just formed...so missed it...and FINALLY SPOP is here!! Finally a competition i can join...WOOT!

Initially i wanted to upload my first, second and eighth song...but because my music producer A.K.A Jeremy goh is not free i only managed to send my second song "Xing4 fu2 de4 ding4 yi4" or the meaning of xing4 fu2...ok i suddenly forget whats the english word for xing fu...can someone pls remind me on my tagboard...lol... Yup..so i sent my second song... and you guys can actually listen to it on the Spop webbie... Oh btw...the stupid uploading system done by mediacorp is screwed up...basically the names of the composer and lyricist are switched...=_= which means my name written as lyricist while desmond's name is shown under composer...sigh...dont misunderstand k..I'M THE COMPOSER!! hahaha...:D

Actually I've recently written another song...this time for an ANIME my friend and his group of cousins are friends are working on...basically i've been recruited as the anime's main theme song composer...which IS DARN COOL!! LOL... I've always loved watching anime..and to be able to hear my OWN composed theme song in this anime is just WAY cool... LOL...I wanted to upload it on the blog but havent officially copyrighted the piece under COMPASS...so u guys gotta give me some time...i'll upload the anime song as soon as i finish the copyrighting...heh...LOOK FORWARD TO IT k!! haha...

Who knows, maybe one day i'll be a famous song composer...writing songs for Andy Lau, S.H.E, Mayday, Tank, Stephanie Sun, etc... LOL..i wish......literally...:P

Ok..late post again..heh...anw its mooncake festival today...so enjoy your mooncakes all! Lol...

Well...some updates recently...Attended Kian huat's 21st birthday on Saturday...lol...he finally caught up with the rest of us and soon we'll go watch movies together..lol..i must say it was one of the most successful birthday parties i've ever attended...in fact its even much better than mine...haha..everything was so well coordinated...the door gifts...the games...the videos...the performance...wow...*impressed* I remember myself taking leave to plan my birthday only to screw some things up..ah well...haha kian huat really has a group of really great buddies who helped him plan and organise everything...haha so must also thank them for the wonderful time i had...:)

A quick summary of the party -

1) It was held in Aranda Country Club...
2) I went with jin zi and met most of my 15/03 classmates...glad to see them man..haha
3) Watched a video made by kianhuat's friends with my ugliest picture shown to everyone...=_=
4) "Performed" Yong Heng de Ai with Kian Huat...haha..
5) Stayed over at the chalet....food was good..heh...

Yup..so basically i've realised that writing a whole essay is too time consuming...so hope the point forms were easier to digest..LOL....

Hmm...next update would be the HUGE surprise that jin zi gave me last wednesday...Lesson ended at 1330 that day and Jin zi told me that she would be having lunch with her friends...so i didnt suspect anything...

So after maths tutorial I opened the door only to see Jin Zi standing in front of me, smiling...O.M.G!!! lol...only jin zi witnessed how speechless i went after the surprise....I was like..."WHAT ARE U DOING HERE?!" and there she was...smiling...:D She actually made her way down to NUS and searched for me in my previous lecture theatre...but i missed it cause i was still doing my Electrical Engineering Lab..So she couldnt find me in the LT....

But the sweetest thing was that she actually went ALL the way to my Engine block to find my tutorial room and waited outside for me...:D:D U guys have no idea how touched i was...:D Thanks jin zi for the wonderful surprise...ahhaa! And of course ur sense of direction never fail to impress me! haha...she only went to NUS ONCE and actually managed to tour her way around school to find a small tutorial room and me...:D *touched* haha...thanks jin zi..u brightened up my day..haha... :D

Lastly, I went out with jin zi and her gang of friends last last friday night...haha...I know i'm going backwards in time but thats the best way to make sure i dont miss out on anything...:D So basically this gang of hers is made up of more than 14 ppl...(I'm not too sure about the number but its a large gang) and they hang out together in school....looking out for one another and doing work together...haha actually quite envious that these group of friends are so bonded...haha and after going out with them..i was even more amazed at how closely bonded this group of friends really is...they talk about everything and anything....and if one person miss out on the topic...he would ask about it and everyone will enlighten him...thats how close they are....

Although it was the first time i met and went out with them...it was really so easy to click with them...I even managed to "suan" some of them while chatting..lol...Although i've only talked to them for 1 hour..but it seemed like 6 months to me already...lol..joking..crapping...suan-ing each other...lol...it was really fun lo...haha...

But they sure know how to eat also....cause we went from 1 place to another to eat...first stop was some zhi2 cha4 tua1 (Seafood restaurant found in coffee shops)...next was some dian3 xin1 place ...and then durians... *Vomits* Ok...almost...lol...i was really full that day man!!

Well..no one tags anymore..lol..even when i update more often...lol...or these ppl actually dunno my tag board is found at the BOTTOM LEFT PART OF THE BLOG (Scrolldown the left scrollbar)... lol...anw..back to blog..cause it had been a really stressed week for me...

Hmm..lets just say that stress is a bad thing...hate it..but can do nothing about it...the hormones..the adrenaline...yup...we cant avoid it no matter how hard we try...stress is all around...lol...haha had been really stressed up these few days while doing programming and maths...

Programming - Cause its really not easy...and its like learning a new language all over...but of course when i'm done with writing a program, there's this shiok feeling of achievement...which never fails to brighten up my mood when u see the the values getting computed out correctly...haha...

Maths - Well..2 yrs in the army really numbed the nerves in my head...i cant even do simple integration such as sin^2 x... or at least i forgot...well..its really demoralising cause i'm so afraid of flunking because of simple things like that...and the scholars are already doing so much better at more difficult stuff...so there..if i cant even do the easy stuff..what are the chances of doing better than them...Z.E.R.O...wish me luck man..

Friday's my first quiz in uni...on discrete structures...which is the killer module i'm taking...well..basically its about logic and more logic..so simple things become complicating stuff...and its sometimes quite hard to understand..oh well..u guys will never know since u arent taking the module..LOL....

So there..i'm stressed but i'm glad jin zi's there..and friends like alvin are there to assist me...thanks guys...i'm thankful...:)

Lol..ok great...i'm glad i see ppl like yuan yuan da jie coming to read my blog..haha...gives me motivation to blog more :P Well..i'm glad to announce that i'm not gonna really blog alot tonight..haha cause.. i'm kinda tired... lol..

Well...I happened to be reading an article about this corporal who ran away from camp halfway during guard duty...and I've actually been following this story quite closely cause i kinda pity him...Y? Cause this poor soul here only had 1 more month left to ORD...and if u think about it...that means about 20 more days..or even less..if he had any offs or leaves to clear...this seemed to look like good news right? but noooo.... he did the most idiotic thing any army personnel could have done - He ran away from camp on Sunday at 11.59pm (So Zhun..lol) with his rifle (SAR21) and some rounds (Ammunition) after his girlfriend decided to break up with him...and now faces a jail term of up to 14 years in jail and also caning...Ouch...and thats not all...cause he not only broke civilian law...but military law as well..that means after spending his time in prison..he's not going anywhere else but into army's Detention Barracks A.K.A Army Prison... which is much harsher than the prisons outside...(thats what i heard b4...) And if i'm not wrong..he might be going in more than 1 year...Moreover...after DB, he would have to complete his national service....sigh...pitiful soul...

I can actually understand and feel his devestation when he received such heartbreaking news...but to run away with a rifle...and some ammo?! What was he thinking?!! 1 more month to TOTAL FREEDOM u know...feel sad for him cause i know how much every NSF look forward to his ORD...and now his ORD has just been extended till when he's around 36 years old...thats like...kinda old to be doing your national service rite? But...what can he do now...he was captured shortly (5 hours later) after he ran away... which is kinda pathetic also... and now... no one can help him...oh well..once again i think he quite ke lian la...receive such sad news..going to ORD..then now face jail term and caning...after that still gotta do NS...Wah..i really hope he can take it man...all the best CPL Ong...

Hmm...anyway..back to my own life...haha i've been another pitiful soul this few days too cause of the hectic workload....seems like Uni life is really a huge leap from JC and if u read the nicks of the guys who just entered Uni..u would have realised they are all complaining...so far..i havent seen any guy's nick that goes "UNI ROX!" or "UNI IS FUN!" etc...haha..and yes...Uni is really hard..heavy workload...rushing here and there....taking buses that are overloaded...and getting lost in school...

Yes...i got lost in school again..during my first EG1108 lab (Electrical engineering)... I reached school 15 mins early...but stepped into the lab nearly 30 mins late...=_= Thanks to the complex network of faculty buildings around NUS... and that stupid construction site which rendered the Campus Map totally useless...fortunately...we were freshies...and we still managed to do and complete the experiment without getting kicked out...lol...

Well..there's not much difference in Uni Lab as compared to JC Labs..just bigger and more dangerous equipment...lol... and i'm not kidding... In JC we use 1.5V batteries...i still remember they looked like those wood blocks we used in shuttle run...lol..in NUS... we use 240V DC Motor Generator...that sounds like its gonna explode anytime if u turn it up too high...lol... Also..in JC..the ammeter we use can be put on our palm...but in uni the ammeters are so large they need a handle...LOL...its kinda funny to see such a large ammeter though..haha..dunno y..just find it corny...lol...oh well...

Ok So i was late...and ended up pairing with a PRC named wen hao..nice guy though...and he's a scholar...lol...which is good..cause he's pro...haha...i wonder y i so you3 yuan2 (fated with) the PRC ppl...haha Jason was the first...then that guy in EG1108 tutorial...now this Wenhao...I wonder if the gods are trying to make me accept them as nice ppl...hmmm...come to think of it..they are quite nice...just...too smart...lol...and irritating when they make us feel like we're lowly lifeforms...and in our own country too...gahz..haha...oh well..such is life...As the chinese saying goes...one mountain is always higher than the other...lol..ok ok crapping cause i'm tired...

:) Had this urge to blog again..lol...and i can almost finally conclude that only Jin Zi and Boon Tien read my blog now...kinda sad huh..haha..but who to blame? Since I sometimes take so long to update..lol...well..maybe i should use my msn nick to advertise my little blog here..haha..oh well..:)

Sigh...After starting school for the first 3 weeks...I can officially declare myself STRESSED UP! haha...well...cause its kinda like a huge jump from JC to Uni..especially u spend 2 years in the army where ur brain gets totally infested with vulgarities, hokkien and green clothes...lol...well..i must say i've slowly caught up with some of the topics such as differentiation and integration..lol..but still...i feel stressed...and why? Because of those All-So-Excited-And-Nasty Scholars...or ppl usually call them ASEAN Scholars...=\ They're somewhat much smarter than us Singaporeans..and i really dunno why...hmm..its not like we never study hard to enter uni u know...haha..but still i must admit they're really intellegent academically...EQ Wise..i'm not too sure..but i have met some really nice PRCs ppl though..haha like Jason...his slang is damn cool...lol..

Talking about PRCs remind me of this incident which happened during my first Electrical Engineering tutorials... to keep it simple it went like this:

1) Teacher made a point

2) Student frowned

3) Student argued, giving a load of reasons

4) Teacher stumbled

5) Student pwned Teacher

6) Teacher finds excuse to cover himself (eg I just saw the tutorial...)

Lol...thats the amazing power of the PRCs..Fear them...FEAR THEM ALL! oh well...really hope i can catch up to them soon...or at least work hard for myself! :) Ganbatte~

Argh!!My application for deferment from ICT has been UNSUCCESSFUL!! Sigh..for girls or guys who havent been to army... ICT = In Camp Training = Reservist = NS.. And I happened to have received a notification that mines from 10 December to 21 December...sigh..and of course i would want to defer...after all its 12 days long (Unfortunately its HIGH KEY = Tough Training/Exercise) and my breaks only for 5 weeks...so i really wanna relax during these 5 weeks...I tried to use my "Full Time Studies" to defer..but the Commanding Officer just told me that its during my vacation..so NO...sigh..but nevertheless i'm going to appeal...and I WILL DO IT...pray for me guys...and wish me luck...:P

YEAH~Jin Zi crashed my lecture and tutorial at NUS on Wednesday! Haha..really superb-awesomely cool~lol...i must say it was kinda fun..and its been like 2 years plus since we had any lectures together..and if i'm not wrong... it is the FIRST TIME we had tutorials together!! haha..I'll just describe some of the events that happened..lol..

Well..it all started with meeting Jin Zi under her block (She used to wait for me under my block and we'll walk to school together everyday during the AJC days..:D).. Then we went to have Mac breakfast...haha and that was where she intro me to this $2 breakfast..which i totally didnt know b4..ok ok..i really havent eaten much mac breakfast b4..sorry k..haha..but it consisted of one drink and one sausage macMuffin..haha..i must say $2 is really cheap..haha..next time i know le...:)

Next we took the mrt to buona vista and waited for the LEGENDARY 95..which is ALWAYS full and comes ONCE every blue moon...Its really irritating..cause even if u reach there 30 mins b4 lecture..u will still be late because of that 95... Then what does SBS want us to do? Come 45mins b4 just to wait for the bus to make it in time for lecture?? 45mins?! Buona Vista -> NUS is just 8 mins bus journey!! =\ ok..i'm quite pissed at 95..so when i have the time..i'm SURE to write to either SBS or The Straits Times..just to "suggest" some ideas... I mean...the bus only travels from Buona..thru NUS and thats the end of its journey..so why cant they just deploy a few more buses?? And we're students...and a large number of them...so cant they be more considerate so that we wouldnt be late for our precious lessons? Oh well...haha...just a small rambling there..haha back to the NUS lecture/tutorial crashing..lol..

So we reached NUS..and late! and slightly lost..thanks to me..haha cause i'm still a freshie and still needed lotsa time to find the shortcuts and everything...sorry Jin Zi..for making u run..haha...and then we attended my discrete structures lecture...btw..Jin Zi and I both think that the lecturer looks alot like Chen Lei...LOL...(for those who dunno..its the hokkien singer who sings Ai Bia Jia Eh Ya.. okok i dunno how to spell..but it means must strive then will win in hokkien..haha) So Jin Zi did her work and solved one of my maths questions... Yes..i spent 1 hour and still cant solve...but Jin Zi took only 10 mins...=_= Yikes...i really gotta catch up with my JC Maths..haha Thanks Jin Zi...ur maths still very pro wor..haha..

Then we went for my maths tutorial..and once again...LATE..cause i was LOST AGAIN...=\ lol...ok ok...i need time to familiarise with every place ya...lol..fortunately..during the tutorial..i realised i understood almost everything...and they were slowly coming back into my head...haha..whew...will continue to strive harder though..haha...

Later...we met up with Wanping and Wei Ann for lunch..haha..nothing much there..We went to arts canteen...Jin Zi and I ate Lerk Thai (One lemon chicken set meal and pineapple rice...) while wan ping and wei ann had fries and icecream..lol...notice the difference in proportions...haha..:P And then i showed some magic to them...which kinda failed quite badly...lol...oh well..need more practice! :D

:) So after lunch we went to central forum walk walk and then went home le...:) Haha..had a really fun day at school..for once..haha! Thanks jin zi~ LOL...:D

Btw... I forgot to blog about my bro's birthday...:) haha it was held on Saturday at his house...really enjoyed myself..and i managed to collect up to $475 for jeremy's birthday..:D Yup..the $475 is for his mac book pro which costs over $3000...haha although i really did have some issues about getting this "GIFT" for his birthday..but what to do...he's my bro..lol... So Jin Zi and I got him this Coin Bank which can deposit money but cannot withdraw cause u must use can opener to open..hahahaha~ That will prevent Jgoh from using the money on other stuff..haha! U better use that money for the lap top bro...everybody bought a part of your laptop for u..:D Anw..the party rocked and the small guy from campus superstar won...Congrats~ But too bad for u..time to concentrate on ur O LEVELS... Ha Ha Ha~ :P But I must admit he sings well...haha all the best little guy...:P

Well..:) Seems like i must really get into the habit of blogging more frequently...my blog fans are really gone this time..haha and my new frens who visited my blog says that my previous entry is way too long...lol! No choice le..in order to write short entries...i must blog more...:D

New life at NUS seems a lil like JC..the few differences i noticed were:

1) We get to wear nice clothings

2) You have to take a bus from one lecture to another

3) Some girls look like they are going clubbing

4) Lecturers dont really care if u understand

5) There are lots of canteens around

6) Lectures are bidded for and ur friends might not be in the same class as u

7) Timetables change every semester

8) No such thing as 1 teacher for 1 subject

Late updates....AGAIN....

Hi guys...yea..u guessed it..late updates again...kinda disappointing huh...lol...i actually typed one whole entry before i went to genting...but somehow i deleted the whole thing...before i could hit Ctrl + Z, the thing autosaved...gahz...i guess technology is like a double edged sword...sometimes good sometimes bad...in the end blogger helped me auto save a blank page...thanks blogger..:) Ok...but still...no excuse for blogging late..haha..but its still better than never blog...yup..so here are some updates...simple and short ones...:D

Update 1

Well I had a close shave with dengue 3 days before i went to Genting...And there wasnt any shaving cream to go with it......*silence...* Ok...nvm...So first i had high fever...and on the third day i had spots all over my hands and feet...(These are the EXACT symptoms of dengue...) I went to the doctor...and i was totally sian-ed diao..cause i totally didn't expect it and I will be disappointing Jin zi and Jeremy & Kailin if I couldnt make it...I was so frustrated I kept sighing...haiz..haiz...haiz...till my mum said..can u pls dont sigh anymore...lol..

So i went to Tan Tock Seng hospital to have a blood test...and i remember looking at the doctor and asking him "Is it dengue?" I was telling myself that i was ready for the worst news...

He told me he had to take my blood sample...so i put out my right hand...and let him draw blood...lol and although i kinda got used to blood test already..it still kinda hurt abit..after all its a needle poking thru ur veins rite? lol..so he took one tube of blood and i was somewhat relieved..Just went i was holding on to the cotton bud to stop the blood, he looked at me and said "I think i didnt draw enough blood...I'll draw more..." My first reaction was "WHat?! Same arm??" Lol...no kidding...i really said that to him...then he replied, looking very amused "No la...the other arm..." =_= Like there's any difference...lol...in fact i dunno y i asked that...haha...Ok...so no choice..one more prick....Ow...

Finally he was done and i went to have a meal..cause he said that the test results will only be out only after 1 hour...I remembered i didnt eat much cause i was just too worried...lol and i had to hold up both my arms thank to mr doctor...lol...the meal seemed really long cause i was really worried about the results..Sigh..

Ok..60 mins later i walked back to the test lab...it was a long long walk...everything around grew quiet...i could hear every single lup dub of my heartbeat...the air was dry...and..i'm being to emo now...lol...ANW.. i went to see the doctor... I looked into his eyes and asked... "Is it dengue?" He diaoed back and said... "Your platelet counts are alright..its not dengue..." I leaned back and said "Heng ah!!!" NO KIDDING..i really did say it out loud..lol...but the doctor just looked at me with those =_= eyes and said "Dengue only ma...2 weeks fever only..no need scared die one la..." LOL..this doctor so cool lor...no wonder draw my blood like free one...lol...oh well i dun really care about it...ITS NOT DENGUE!! Genting HERE I COME!!! :D

29/07/2007 - 31/07/2007 : I had a hell of a time in GENTING!! Lol...ok ok basically i went genting with Jin Zi, Jeremy and Kai Lin...it's sorta like the first time i'm out overseas with non family..heh! Not including the band trips during secondary school days...lol..anw...i really enjoyed myself la...damn fun...haha...

29/07/2007 : Day 1... Met at 5 plus under Jin Zi's block to wait for kailin's parents to fetch us to golden mile...haha thanks kailin and parents! LOL... Jin zi wasnt really feeling well though..but still she insisted on going...feel really touched ne...THANKS JIN ZI! :D

Yup..so we boarded the grassland bus and began our long and sleepy journey...lol..

On the bus I made some interesting discoveries...

1) The bus was not like the one Christopher Lee, Moses lim or Zhong qing sat on... It was kinda...old....

2) The seats will not allow u to lean back (I mean pressing the buttons...) until u cross the singapore border... =_= like that also happy...

3) The toilet is one interesting place... i will elaborate later..lol...

4) There were many bald old men...

Lol... If i have the pics i will post them kk..haha cause they are all with jin zi...:P

So the journey was really long..haha will be quite boring to describe...but let us talk about the toilet...lol..its actually a small room which cant stop shaking.. (because the bus is moving) In it is one metal pail and one plastic bucket with water in it... So basically u "relieve" in the metal pail..and flush it using the water in the bucket...the funny thing is the difficulty of "aiming" properly for a guy...i mean...i feel like i was shooting a machine gun in an area hit by an earthquake...kept shaking and shaking and shaking and...ya..shaking...lol...so basically u really gotta concentrate...lol...so u will aim properly...and not dirty the place..ok..i shall stop describing...i wonder y i went into so much info..i'm sorry all...:P

So basically we had 2 stop overs and i realised how much kailin loved to eat..haha...and together with jeremy, they brought a HUGE bag of tidbits...its true..it was HUGE! lol..and they just kept eating..haha..good life huh! :P Ya..and on the way we were watching 'the banquet'... Not a bad show..but missed some part cause i fell asleep..:P

Ok ok...lets move on to Genting... After i-forgot-how-many hours of journey..we reached first world hotel...the first thing we did was check in..bla bla...and since i registered the trip under my name...i was sorta like the boss..haha but jin zi was there to pei me queue up and everything..so not too bad..:P

So we checked in and put our laugage in the room and everything...

By the time we were done...it was near 3 pm? or was it 4pm...so it was no longer wise to go to the theme park...cause will be quite a waste of money...so we ended up playing some indoor rides and going to the Ripley's Believe it or Not Museum!! Cool place! With all the cool exhibits and everything..will post the pics if i receive them! :P Took lotsa pics there..haha..

Indoor rides were quite fun...although not very thrilling...we sat on the bum bum car and some indoor roller coaster - which was totally not frightening..lol... anw it was the first time Jin zi played on the bum bum car...fun rite?? heh! :D really...we had fun knocking the senses out of each other..:P Lets go again some day! :D

After the indoor rides we went to the musuem...there were exhibits of the most amazing things on earth...like guys with 2 pupils in one eye...a real unicorn man (who had a bone stick out of his head)... the largest shoe...bla bla bla...too many things to talk about...haha..you guys can go to http://www.ripleys.com/ for more info...:D

At the end of the museum, jin zi was curious about one of the gantries at the end..those that spin in one direction for u to go out...lol...and we all know that curiousity killed the cat...so she walked thru and guess what? She was stuck in there...cause she couldnt turn back anymore...:P Initially we were all quite worried cause we didnt know where the other side led to..so in the end i went in with her to check it out...:) to our relief..it was just another exit..whew..:) So we went out and waited for jeremy and kailin to come out..:) Really had lotsa fun! :)

Night time...we were free and easy...so Jin Zi and I went to play bowling..haha Jeremy and kailin went to take some indoor rides...:)

30/08/2007 : Day Two.

Started raining since morning...Really dampened our mood cause due to the heavy rain..most of the rides have been stopped...:*( So we first went to fill our stomachs with the free buffet coupon... We ate lots of eggs..bread...Cereal..haha...

After that we just went to walk around..play some arcade and pray that the rain will stop soon...

Fortunately..around 1 plus 2... the rain almost stopped...so we were able to go in and finally played what we went to genting for! :D

Some of the rides we played were:
1) Pirate Ship ( I give it : ***** 5 Stars! Shiok!)

2) Ghost Train ( I give it : * 1 Star! For the effort to make the super-lousy-and-not-so-scary robots)

3) Go-Kart (I give it : *** 3 Stars! Not bad..quite fun..but Jin Zi wasnt feeling too well to join us...next time k!! :D)

4) The Cyclone Rollercoaster ( I give it: **** 4 Stars! Exciting and really fun!)

5) There was this ride whereby we're spun around while hanging our legs out... forgot the name (I give it *** 3 Stars! Quite fun for the 1st ride...lol)

6) The one that resembles the haw par villa ride where u slide down the water (I give it ***** 5 Stars! Super fun! Only me and jeremy took cause it was quite cold for the girls...we ended up being SUPER WET and COLD! But FUNN!!!)

7) Flying Coaster (I give it ***** 5 Stars! SUPER FUN! U fly around while lying on your belly...Extremely thrilling! NICE!!! :D )

Anw...it was at the theme park that made me fall in love with Cup Corn! Credits to Jin Zi..who introduced me to it! :D Thanks jin zi!! Heh...Cup Corn ROX! :D

So at the end of the day...we went to watch this circus kind of show called FLY...lol...Then went back to orh orh le..:)

31/07/2007 : Go home le! Sigh!! Another long journey..but i must say..this was the most fun trip i've ever been to! Hmm..where shall we go next holiday? :D Looking forward to it wor!! :D

11/08/2007 : I drove my first passenger home today! :D And that lucky passenger was none other than JIN ZI! :D haha...

YEEEEEEEEEEEEEOOOOOOOOOO! Haha.. Hi all... I'm so sorry for not updating my blog for a whole one month..i hope my blog readers are still alive...kicking...and patient enough to finally see this post...seriously...i wonder if anyone is even reading this now... Well maybe those who are reading now can drop me a little taggie? So i know? Lol... ok... Anyway many events, programmes, stuff, issues have occured over the one month after my birthday...Although i would love to update about everything... I really do not wish to write another 200-page novel...so..i'm just gonna list out some significant events (or rather those that are currently presented in my head) that have happened over the past one month...:) Lets go..

Update ONE

Hmm..well...lets start with a sentosa trip...

Went to Sentosa with Jie (Wanping) and Jie Fu (Wei ann) and Jin Zi on 08/07/2007, Sunday...haha...I must say it has been a long time since i've been to the beach...and guess what? I thoroughly enjoyed myself... We had lotsa fun playing frisbee, volleyball (which we traded with our frisbee) and lastly the four of us had a try on the paddleboat! haha which happen to be a water bicycle...which can sit 4 ppl... Apparently it cost $25 / half hour? or was it $20... lol..i think its $20! haha but initially we thought "Huh? Only half an hour? Wont that be too short?" but soon it became... "When is the half an hour gonna end?" Lol... Apparently paddling that paddle boat is one tough activity..haha...cause it is not really that easy to get it to move around the water... haha.. and when 4 of us were on top...things got even harder...lol.. We rode the paddle boat into the sea and found out we were too tired to ride back..lol..and we got stuck in the middle of the sea... We thought we were never gonna make it back to Singapore..and i almost called my mum to tell her I wont be back for dinner...LOL~ Oh well.. Here are some photos at the start of the sentosa trip! :D

Well...After having fun with the paddle boat, frisbee, volleyball, Wan ping and Wei Ann had a dinner appointment...so they had to leave..haha Jin Zi and I decided to have some fun on our own! :D

Update TWO

Well..the next update took place on 17/07/2007!

Heh..another trip with Jin Zi.. This time to Kbox again! haha...didnt take too many pics cause my fone no flash..haha but jin zi did..maybe will get her to send me..then i'll upload :D

So we went to Kbox..K Lunch this time..so much cheaper..haha but same amount of fun! :D No..not same amount..this time more fun...cause Jin Zi and I can sing lots of Duets already!! haha...and its not just sing sing for fun de...we can accompany each other's voice wor..haha looks like the training paid off...lol.. for those who are wondering what training... Jin zi is supposed to train me on the yao3 zi4 (Bite words = Articulation of words) and i'm supposed to train her on he2 ying1 (Same tone = Voice Accompainment)... And now... We've both improved and can sing songs like Liang San Bo and Zhu li ye... Shan Hu hai ... Lian Ai Pin Luu... Ming tian ni yao jia gei wo...ahaha WOOT! Fun fun fun!!! :D Jin zi can he ying really well now!! Ganbatte~

Well...After the nice Kbox session, Jin Zi had to go tuition..so i waited around NorthPoint and did some shopping...heh :P

After that we went to SEOUL GARDEN at Takashimaya!! Woot! Buffet!! Haha...

Had Spicy Kimchi Soupbase.. Free flow drinks... and what else...BARBEQUE! :D That day was also the day when I realised that Jin Zi really really really really really REALLY REALLY REALLY Love buffet...Did i mention about her amazing appetite? haha... but thanks to her..the meal was so worth it... Of course i had my fill too.. YUM YUM YUM! Here are some fotos! :D

And this was an experiment to test what happens to a hotdog if u BBQ it at the same spot for some time... Conclusion: Blisters CAN appear on hotdogs... Lol~

So the rest is about Jin Zi eating... OOPS! I mean about US eating...LOL!! :D We really had our fill... and we had lotsa fun laughing at each other's buldging tummies after that...haha so full!! I felt my gut was gonna rupture anytime..haha what a meal! :D

After that..just to let the food digest..we walked from Takashimaya all the way to Suntec City..lol...initially we wanted to look for jeremy who was having a rehearsal for his gig there...but couldnt find him...so we went home le... haha.. Really had lots of fun! 17/07/07 rox! :D

Update THREE

Well... No photos here... but I had my English Qualifying Test on Thursday - 19/07/2007.. haha..I must say i was actually quite worried the previous day.. which was not really surprising cause I didnt prepare much...the only things i did was finding out how to write GP essays again... and reading some news on TODAY newspaper..LOL! Well.. didnt sleep much and went for test.. The paper wasnt exactly hard.. but the topic is one of the more... Chim ones..haha anw.. the essay question was "Is legalizing organ transplant in country desirable? Why or why not?" Lol... OUCH! hard rite? haha but luckily the front got 2 passages for u to refer to...

The first passage is for us to identify grammer mistakes or any other forms of mistakes and change them accordingly...

The second passage is for comprehension... 6 multiple choices and 2 open ended...LOL..feels like going back to 'O' Levels... haha but the essay was more like a GP essay la... My opinion is that it is NOT DESIRABLE to a large extent... haha cause its easier to write it this way...since the 2 passages show more of negative than positive points..lol..who cares about my opinion..this test is about writing a good essay! haha... :P Oh well.. I think i should pass... The results will be out on 01/08/2007... WISH ME LUCK!! :P

Yup..anw just to add on..i've been busy doing my NUS registration stuff..haha so many paper work... lol...

Well...recently I've also started watching a new anime called Jungle wa Itsumo Hale nochi Guu... cause Jin Zi really wanted me to watch..haha guess what... I've never ever laughed so hard watching any anime before... HAHA..THANKS JIN ZI! Love the anime...sorry bout not watching at home...its just that sometimes lazy..and i would rather watch with u..:P Will continue to watch together okie? haha... Ok ok..stop screaming at me...I know i havent been blogging for quite some time already...but I do have a reason for that...Well..u see..well..i was...well...busy...yea..So there...*keeps quiet...* OK! OK! Back to my post..and before that..i would just like to comment on the fact that i'm FINALLY 21!! The golden key is finally MINE...ALL MINE!! *Laughs wildly* right...so i'm finally 21 and i held a magnificent party on the 23rd June 2007 named XiangXXI ... haha... Pls take note of the credits at the end of this post..which happens to be 20+ photos and few billion alphabets later...cause its my big day..and i'm supposed to post every single detail of this special day...so there...I'll let the photos do the talking..Enjoy yourself as u take the path down my hallway of memories to the day when i can finally tell ppl to GROW UP! :) Here we go!

BANG! haha..this group of ppl are the COOLEST ppl i've known in my life..seriously...they show the most sincere and closest friendship bonds i've ever seen in a group of ppl...They even have their own t-shirt..haha...I'm glad i've known them too cause they are always happy to lend a helping hand and appreciate jokes..lol...will feature them more later...

But oh well..at least everyone enjoyed themselves to their fullest...haha...and thats most important! :D

And Next...one of the main event for the birthday was actually an UNO STACKO competition between the KAIS....

Ok..what happens next is one of the craziest and amazing thing that has ever occured in my life...It tells me 2 things..

1) There is such thing called Fate.
2) Eight of Spades shall forever be our lucky card...

The thing is this...I came up with the plan of organising a lucky draw days ago...
And days ago..i showed Jin Zi what i was gonna give as my first prize...
My AUTOGRAPHED photo...with ALL the gifts given out tat day...And actually i was at the back of my mind thinking that it would be great if Jin Zi can get it..since she helped me buy the stuff..and i really want her to have it...haha..but the chances (if u learn permutation) is close to only max 10%...since...

Firstly the cards were randomly chosen to make into "Lucky draw cards" - which means some of the cards of the first deck was not USED AT ALL...

Secondly...the ppl in my party drew the cards RANDOMLY..some were not used...and some were destroyed in the "water incident"..

Thirdly...I drew the cards super randomly after throwing some cards on the floor...hence making the chances of drawing a particular card even smaller...

And guess what...IT HAPPENED! EIGHT OF SPADES...Yes...her card and my card...*Amazed...*

So i would say...the eight of spades will forever be our lucky cards..:D

Well...its been almost one week since i last blogged...and ppl have been emailing, sms-ing, calling me just to remind me to update my blog...so here it is..haha..its almost time to update on some of the stuff that have been happening these few days..

Anw...just like my title says..i'm gonna talk about a story and post some photos...but of course..when i post photos...no one bothers to read my words anymore...so I've come to realise the importance of the first few paragraphs before i post any pics...:P I mean...its so discouraging that no one is reading my superb english...U know i actually spend 10 seconds of my life on each line / captions for the pictures? tsk...so sad..dont like that ma...give me a some noodle paper (Mian4 zi3)... read the words k k ? Heh..thank u thank u..

Hmm...Just 10 minutes ago, I went to read the short story which Boon Tien wrote and publish on his blog...I must say that it was a really touching story which almost made me tear abit..I dunno if its the best story on the net but its definitely one of the more touching stories that i've read before...the story was simple yet heartbreaking.. its amazing how words can play with our emotions...like how i'm actually convincing u to read his story now..lol...ok...If u wanna read the story...u can click on his blog link on the right side...but pls..do it after finish reading mine..:P

Well..i dunno why the story affected me that much..it could most probably be due to what had happened recently...but reading the story just taught me the importance of really cherishing ppl around u...treasuring ppl around u...Well..if u do think seriously...what are the chances of 2 ppl meeting in their lives?

According to https://www.cia.gov/library/publications/the-world-factbook/print/xx.html, The estimated population of the world from July 2007 will be 6,602,224,175...and out of this 6.6 billion ppl.. the 2 of u appeared at the same place...at the same time..on the same day just to introduce yourselves to each other..and if u learn permutation and combination...u will know how difficult it was for 2 ppl to cross path... Yes.. so.. isnt it time to grab on to the ppl beside u now and tell them how much u appreciate their presence when u were down? Isnt it time to pick up your phone to drop a simple sms to someone close and tell him/her how much u miss him/her? Do it! after u finish reading my blog that is...:P

Remember...cherish the one closest to u...hold them close to u and dont let go...u never know how far they will actually drift away once u let go...And also...always appreciate the efforts put in by others and their act of care and concern for u...because u will never know when u need it again and once u take things for granted..u might never get them again....:)

So i was walking around Jubilee when i saw a poster of a particular movie...The moment i saw it...I thought that Naruto was gonna be made into a real-life blockbuster movie like Spiderman, Transformer, Daredevil etc etc...I was TOTALLY EXCITED (right...as if...) Lol..during the post WWII period..the japanese were trying so hard to copy and modify western goods...Looks like times have changed and its the opposite now..lol..

Well..after that i went to the arcade to play Drum Mania...(which is a drumming game with a drumset and a screen in front of it..) And i'm proud to say that i've finally mastered road of major - 大切なもの (Advanced mode)!! This was the screen shot i took...408 PERFECTS!!! 499 Combo - 100% Full combo!!!

For non arcade go-ers..just know that its really hard to get 100% full combo since ppl make mistakes once it a while..but i've finally achieved it...HURRAY! okok...i guess most of u have the =_= face now..since u guys would know nuts about the game..ok ok i'm just happy k??

So after that i went home...and i caught a little insect on my table..but i really didnt know what it was...

Upon careful examination of the 'insect'...I screamed...

It was...it was...SHIKAMARU'S LEG!! ARghhHHhHH! Poor shikamaru...he's really lame now...sigh...This is how he looks like after he had broken his leg...

Sigh..As u can see...he looks really SIAN DIAO...i mean..who wouldnt feel that way if his leg broke for no reason...Dont worry shikamaru..i'll throw in all my coins from my piggy bank to buy u the best super glue ever...U'll get well soon...I promise...Hang in there...

And here's a photo of my work space at Singtel..Its a small cosy place where i can do my work seriously without any distractions...

It comes fully equipped with a thermo-bottle filled with Milo...two 8DAYS magazine and a Philips earpiece for Anime watching... Ok..and that finger there (Its a middle finger btw..) was a prank by one of my colleagues who actually wanted to do the Victory sign but ended up scolding a vulgar word at my dear PC...sigh..the PC is innocent..

Hahaha...so there...I'm always working so hard...Sigh..no choice..need to work hard to earn money...Cause i've still got 66 episodes of Naruto to watch to catch up with the others in my company...sigh..such hard work...

Emo...and getting Emo-ed at...

Emo..cause i actually teared while watching Naruto episode 132 - 134...I dunno if it had anything to do with what had happened recently but all i know is I couldnt control my tears at the point of time...I didnt know why...The story line was just too touching...

Basically to cut things short...the scene was about Uchiha Sasuke leaving the village to seek Orochimaru, who is this sick guy that seek other bodies to transfer his soul to...His aim...to gain immortality..

According to him..the soul can be immortal but not the body..so he seeks the strongest body to take over..and Sasuke happened to have a bloodline limit technique called the Sharingan...which made him Orochimaru's dream container...

To make things worse, Sasuke has always been an avenger..to avenge the deaths of his whole clan..Some years back, his whole clan was wiped out by his brother, Uchiha Itachi..and Sasuke wanted to grow stronger so that he could one day kill the brother he hates so much...

After a series of events, Sasuke realised that the only person that could give him the powers he needed was orochimaru...and so, he decided to leave the village...

Sakura (The girl who loves him) could not convince him to stay...

Naruto and sasuke...The 2 closest friends...2 brothers...were then forced to fight...

I shall stop here since I wont be able to describe the whole scenario with words alone..furthermore...a picture speaks a thousand words and a video will speak like a few million words i think...so i will post the link to the video at the bottom of my post...Go watch and u will understand y the scene was so touching...Its only about 8 mins long..so be patient and let it load a bit..:)

Ok...so now...whats the 'getting Emo-ed at' all about...well..basically i handled the harsh-est and most agressive customer ever in my 3 months at Singtel...He was so hostile with his words that i'm going to call him the legendary loud mouth (LLM).

And so, the story unfolds....

I was watching naruto as usual and waiting for calls to come in...

Just when I was beginning to enjoy myself, i heard the "TOOT TOOT" which usually means a customer has called in...But this time...Something was different...it was HIM...the LEGENDARY LOUD MOUTH...

**The following is just a rough summary of what our conversation was like...the names have been changed to protect the identity of the LLM**

"Hello good afternoon singtel mio how may i help u?"

"I want to complain about the Mio. The installation was yesterday. But it could not be done because your linesman did not come down to do wiring. This is absurd and I think it is very irresponsible."

"Sir..give me a minute as i check on your installation status..Can i have your number pls?"

"Sure u can smarty pants..6--------"

*Puts customer on hold*

I checked the installation status and found out that it was under KIV...

*Unhold* "Sir, the installation was indeed not done and KIV cause of wiring. I'll have to call the installation company to confirm the whole issue"

"U wasted 2 minutes of my time to verify something that i told u? That is just so STUPID! I mean DIDNT I TELL U THAT my installation has failed?! And u put me on hold for 2 minutes just to check on what i've told u? Thats just silly! I want to talk to a manager bla bla bla"

"Ok sir..i'm gonna have to call the installation compan..."

"NO! Dont u understand what i'm saying?? From the start of the conversation i've already told u that i just want to speak to your manager! Are u dumb?? U know? I dont care about u... I dont even care if u die in a car accident! I want to talk to the manager!"

That pissed me a little...

"Sir, U do not have to curse me sir..."

"I'm not cursing u..i mean i really dont care if u die in a car accident..u're just a CSO earning $2500 a month which i dont even care about..."

Pissed me a little more there...

He continues "I just want to talk to your manager...and I DONT CARE A DAMN ABOUT U"

I finally replied "Same to u sir..."

"YES i know! bla bla bla~"

"Ok..."

"SHUDDUP! Just listen to me"

"Ok.."

"I said shuddup! Dont even TALK! Dont even say OK"

"Ok.." *grins*

"No i said shuddup dont u understand?"

"Ok!"

"Ok your a--...i want to talk to your manager u son of a b----...Go to hell...Da-- u bas----...(More vulgarities...but i shall stop at these few) I dont care! get me your manager!"

Lol..that was enough to piss me off...Since he scolded not only me but both my parents...

"Sir! IF u dont care why do u even call our hotline?!"

*Fireworks* *Confetti*

Basically it all ended after my team leader agreed to help me handle customer...most of the CSOs at my dept stood up after hearing my voice...haha cause it was an extremely rare case to hear a CSO shout back at the customer...Lol..but i had enough of his nonsense...He can scold Singtel for all i care...but not me..not my parents...not anyone i know...I can lose my job no problem..but NO ONE IS TO attack my family members...

I might lose the job..but i wont lose my dignity...

Lol..well..not really..but haha i guess i didnt really want to hear anyone scold my parents ba..Mmm...

Growing up...but with EQ...

Its 2.07am on an early Sunday morning and i'm still not asleep...lol..y? Cause my hair is wet...and y is my hair wet? Cause i just reached home and bathed...and y did i just reach home? Cause i attended another 21st birthday party...This time the lead character is none other than Eric Tan...lol...well..i must say i was happy to see all the ppl that i havent seen for quite some time...namely Caren Jie, Chee teck and joycelyn, Iris (without a pupil :P) , Zheng Wen, Hua zai, Jeremy heng, Lixin, Siewmay, Sihui, Frankie...and some really old friend of mine from VS band like Liang he and Jian wei...lol..and of course not forgetting ma best bro J Goh..heh...although i must admit i was feeling moody and stuff like that..but i guess when i'm around ppl, the entertainer in me takes over and I simply couldnt help but to crack jokes throughout and act stupid..lol...It was....i guess one of the ways to cheer myself up as well...

But it seems like there were ppl that truely understood how i really felt...Like j goh and caren jie...who actually came to talk to me when they saw me just sitting there...they knew that I wasnt really myself..although i really "danced" alot...ha..at that moment i must say i really appreciated the concern they showed even when they could have enjoyed themselves and not bother about me...If there's a reason y i should cheer up and perform my magic for everyone will be because i knew they cared and wanted me to be happy...:) So i did... Anw..Thanks jie...for always understanding and telling me how much u care...and bro..u know la..u've always been there...and i'm really glad that u always understood and stood on my side as my bud...Yea...I always felt that appreciation is very impt... and i guess a simple thanks will let them know that i really do appreciate..:)

Anw..just wanna wish Eric a Great happy 21st birthday...and thanks for the wonderful food...although i spent more time bbq-ing than eating..lol...i think i only ate 1 hot dog, 4 satays, 1 mashmallow and 1 otah ( Frankie 'koped' one bite of it) ...but still...i enjoyed myself...Thanks eric and may all your wishes come true! :)

Well...during the little party we just talked alot...talked about our VS life with my VS bandmates and everything...brings back some memories...mostly bad ones though..haha cause i wasnt really committed to band at that time and being relatively smaller, i was often a target of teasing...but now we just all laughed about it and there were no more section leader-member kind of relation...we were just a group of friends talking about the past..lol...

And then there were some ppl who were still as active and funny as usual...talking to them is just so easy because they appreciated the jokes that we shared and acted stupid as well...but there were one or two who just didnt really think the stuff that we talked about are funny..to them they were just purely lame...there are other examples but of course i dont wanna list them out and cause any misunderstandings because i'm just pointing out and not attacking anyone..haha..to me if they dont like it..then i'll try to be more serious in front of them...simple as that...but they were the few ppl who actually made me think about EQ today.....

Hmmm.. according to Wikipedia, EQ , also called EI and often measured as an Emotional Intelligence Quotient, describes an ability, capacity, or skill to perceive, assess, and manage the emotions of one's self, of others, and of groups...This means that anyone with high EQ should be able to understand another easily and hence, be able to converse more easily with others...

To me, EQ is very impt ba...since without EQ, u will usually end up making another upset or unknowingly offend or even hurt someone...Today, i actually overheard something which surprised me...cause it didnt really happen and it involved a 3rd party who was definitely innocent...but I wasnt really in the mood to interrupt them or anything..so i just walked away..lol..this is a simple example of low EQ...making up stories to receive attention...

Actually EQ cannot be trained i guess...sometimes its a matter of whether u wan to show it anot...for example if u truly appreciate and like someone i think u wouldnt just potray low EQ in front of him/her...in fact..out of concern, care and love, u would most prob do almost the right thing and understand his/her feelings...This...will allow u to at least potray high level of EQ and reduce friction...but for some ppl...they just fail to do it cause they dont care...or they cant be bothered about how others might be thinking...these are the people who are of extremely low EQ and might end up regretting in future...Well..to those who dont believe in EQ...i just wanna highlight the fact that it is really very impt and it deals a great impact in your life...be it in relationships, career or family....So do think about it...if not...then u better have an extremely high IQ...cause Einstein was like that...he had extremely high IQ but extremely low EQ...(I read it somewhere) But if u cant have a super high IQ like him...then...maybe u can try harder..lol :P (btw i'm really not speaking of anyone in particular k...dont misunderstand..just some thoughts...and thoughts that come out at midnight...is kinda ridiculous at times...so...haha dont think too much yea?)

Sigh...just minutes before i started writing this post...i was verbally abused by one of my customers... I seriously dont understand whats wrong with Singaporeans nowadays...Arent Customer Service Officers humans too? Are we not made from cells? Are we not the children of another human too? Its really frustrating when u can only listen and not answer back...sigh...But of course..this is just part and parcel of my job...and its not really affecting me now though..cause i've so gotten used to this...haha..in fact sometimes my colleagues and i have a good laugh at those stupid customers who think we really understand...(I call them stupid cause it seems like they do not understand that SHOUTING does not solve the issue...Totally...) but in fact we dont really care...we're just there to do our job...U talk nicely..we'll put in 101% effort...U scream at us...we'll just give u minimal assistance...and we'll help u NOT because u're a customer but cause we NEVER want to hear your voice ever again...lol...I also want the customers who always scream at us to know that while u're screaming at us...we put u on mute and chit chat with our colleagues, laughing at your pathetic cries over the phone...So scream..bring it on~

(I'm sorry for the outburst...i really hate Singaporeans who scream at fellow Singaporeans...when they know that we're only trying to help them...)

Anw...aboout what just happened...the first thing the cust said after i said good afternoon was "HOW YOU WANT TO SOLVE MY PROBLEM?"

So i was like thinking...erm..."What is your problem??"

I continued asking... "What seems to be the issue?"

She replied "My line is cut off! Today was installation..bla bla bla"

So i continued "For that i will have to call the installation compan...."

Before i could even finish what i wanted to say, she shouted "I DONT WANT TO HEAR ALL THAT..."

So i gave her the coolest answer any customer service officer could give...

I merely replied "Ok..."

Lol...that really got on her nerves...and she continued screaming...and after talking to her for 10 minutes using one-liners (ie. "Ok" , "Yes" , "Mmm") from me and more screaming from her...i finally convinced her that screaming at me will not solve the issue...and that i had to put down so i can help her call the installation company to find out what was the issue, then help her get her line up...

But she wasnt really happy I'm not scared of her...so she started her threats...

"Ok..nvm..u take your time and find out what is happening..while i'll go down straight to the comcentre and see if they can help me IMMEDIATELY. Ok? Thanks. Bye."

I simply replied "Ok Bye!" and hanged up...Lol... Why must she sound so aggressive? Wasnt i trying my best to listen? Ok...I wasnt so bad as to leave the problem unsolved...I called my installation company and told them the issue...Case followed up and solved...

You see? There's really no need to be screaming at all...U're just wasting your own time rite? If she had allowed me to put down earlier to call my installer, she would have solved her problems faster...but apparently she wanted to waste her own time...sigh..the life of a customer service officer...lol...

But of course...not everyday is like that...and most of the time i'm enjoying myself reading emails...blogging...gaming...naruto-ing...lol...and of course there are customers who really thank you sincerely after u help them...These are customers who u wouldnt mind calling the next day just to ask if everything is ok...simply because they APPRECIATE... Appreciation has always been very important in my life...cause i've been disappointed far too many times and taken for granted most of the time...Just a simple "Thanks" after i put in effort to help would really make my day...:)

And while looking thru some of my emails today i found some pictures that were sent to me in 2004...oh btw...my email has 1300 unread emails when i opened it today...Lol..and it had a total of 2109 emails i think...haha...Ok ok..its not that i dont read them...but just that I'm too lazy to delete emails that i dont read...and that i simply just like to keep my emails as memories for the future...:) Well...I've decided to post some of the pictures that were more interesting...lol...

Well...it has been 4 days since i've last blogged...yeah...and the reason why i actually decided to blog today is because:

1) I'm Bored...
2) A Customer service officer does nothing else but sit and wait for calls...
3) I've complains...
4) I did an interesting quiz...

Sigh...I shouldnt have slept late...again...sigh...but i really cant fall asleep these few days...oh well...anw I've been trying to find a particular GBA Rom (erm..roms are games that can be played using emulators such as Visual Boy Advance, etc...With this emulator and the 'rom'..u're able to play Gameboy games or games for any other consoles on your PC..) since yesterday but all i found were sites with lots of pop-ups and links that says "Click here for the roms"...only to find out that they all led to Rom ranking sites..with undesirable advertisements...And its really no point looking for them in the ranking sites since the links they provide usually lead back to other ranking sites...sigh...why like that? There used to have some really good sites but they were taken down one by one...now its so hard to find just one game..sigh...

Complain Number 2:
I dont like to be late...But i ended up almost being late again today because I was tired, spent some time looking for that rom in the morning...and had to rush to top up my fare card....fortunately i was only late by 2 mins...Well...some of u might be wondering why i dont like to be late.. NOT cause they might cut my pay; NOT cause i will end up becoming hot and sweaty but cause i'll end up losing my seat in the office...sigh...Today the first thing i found out when i reached my call center was that someone has taken my seat again...I tried looking at that person's previous seat but found another person sitting there already...so maybe thats why he/she had no choice but to take my seat....The reason y I dont like to change seats is cause I have many important files and documents in my computer...and MOST IMPORTANTLY, I have Hinata's wallpaper on my desktop!! Sigh...If the person who took my seat today is reading this...I'm really not blaming u..cause our dear colleague took your seat...but if u happen to have your seat available..pls try not to take mine? Cause i have a lot of files inside that i want to refer to...Thanks! :)

Complain Number 3:
My mum has been asking me questions that i've been unable to answer her these few days...I..really dunno...the worse thing is that i've been moody the past few days..but she just kept asking...so finally i'll end up quarreling with her...sigh...Mum..if u're reading this blog (I HOPE NOT!!) Pls...dont ask me anymore..i really dunno...

Complain Number 4:
I've been working until 8pm this whole week and I am feeling the fatigue...I knew I was going to get my new schedule for the next 2 weeks soon...so i kept praying that they will be one of the better shifts....

Finally the schedule came...I looked at the A4 size paper...Employee Name: Cheng Zhi Xiang...and below that were the shifts for next 2 weeks...I saw...I screamed...I sianed...sigh...cant believe it...ITS ANOTHER DOUBLE WEEKEND!! arghh~ And for ppl who have no idea what it means...its simply mean that I'm working BOTH Saturday AND Sunday...Sigh...how discouraging...and u know whats worse? The following week will be a 5.5 day work week...which means i'll be working from monday to saturday...with no breaks in between...Now...for ppl who are good in figuring out patterns...u would have realised...I'll be working from one saturday to another! Without any breaks! 7 days straight..........:( I dunno...maybe i'll take leave in between...=\

U know..they always say when one person is down on luck...he will just be unlucky all the way...seems like its almost true...:(

Lol...to me..its almost very accurate...cause Love and Family has always been the tops of my list when it comes to the priorities in life...I dunno about Pride because it really depends on the situation..so for that i'll not say if its accurate or not...Career is only impt if i'm happy with what i'm doing...and Money? Its important...but i would prefer happiness and health...and I always feel that it is not very important if i'm rich in future...As long as i have a happy family who do not lack anything...I would be contented...But of course i'll work hard to earn enough money so that i can provide a good life for them...and even now..i wouldnt mind spending some money just to make someone else happier...be it a meal...a little soft toy...a keychain...To me, Money is nothing if it doesnt bring happiness...

My Eighth Song...Confusion...

Hi all...after much consideration..I've finally decided to post the entry which i finished typing on Saturday...I still remember what i felt on Saturday..but i was so tired i've decided to ignore it...and chose to keep the post in my account...hoping that i will never need to post it...but now...i think i'll do it cause seriously..zhuo4 ren2 heng3 nan2...Its true...I'm not talking about any issue in particular..just...its tough to be a person ba...

Waking up today was actually both a torture and relief...torture cause i didnt fall asleep...relief cause its finally morning...I sat up...my eyes felt weary...but closing it didnt help...i stood up...and walked towards my piano...

I sat down...placed my fingers on the black and white keys...and started playing...I wanted to complete my eighth song...

I started playing...but this time something just wasnt right...I closed my eyes...and felt very tired..but still..i tried to capture the mood i had for the past few days...Howver, as i started playing blindly...i heard something different...I tried to play the chord progression I've been writing with...but it was different still...I composed in C major...but this time..i hear A minor...E minor...then F minor....Just what was going on? I let my fingers play on...slowly a song was written...but this time...a different song from last time...

I'm so tired...but i still came to work...and now i'm staring blindly into the screen...lol...the name of my blog just kept flashing..lol..whats going on? I'm too confused...Just what is going on???

Lunch..Dinner...Home...they have always been a lonely times for me...

Lunch - Sitting down in the canteen...just looking around...having my own food...haha..i dont really mind that though...at least i dont have to entertain anyone..just finish my food and go back to my office...

Dinner - I queue up at S11...to 'da bao' (takeaway) my favourite rice...I bring the food home and eat in front together with my TV set...sometimes I just sit down at S11 and have my own little meal...

Home - Four walls till 11pm...

Lol..its times like this when ppl reading the blog thinks i'm trying to gain pity...but i'm not...these are feelings that some of my closest friends might never understand...and some of my other friends will not know how to handle...since i'm always the one counciling ppl...Who am i to be sad? Do i even have the right to? I just know i must make someone happy...(Yea..i know it just sounds terribly lame...so if it does sound that way to u..i apologise...just ignore me yea...)

I'll end here...loneliness leads to fear...fear leads to worries...worries lead to stress...stress leads to fear...its a vicious cycle...

What is this feeling? Is it cause i'm tired? Is that y i'm thinking so much? I dont want to think so much...I've stopped thinking that much long ago... I'm having some weird mixed feelings...and I know this might attract some unneccessary attention...I dunno...i'm just sitting here in front of my pc in the office..and i cant help but think of many things...I know i'm definitely happy about something...but at the same time..i'm worried about something...lol..hao luan..its been some time since i last felt this way..Maybe I'll feel better after a good rest...or when i'm less tired..just maybe...and maybe i'll delete this post after that...

Sorry to keep u guys confused and wondering whats going on...its time like this i'd rather this post be a "private" post...Yes i'm very happy...cause i'm no longer just an entertainer...I'm also an entertainee..if there's such a word...but why i'm having the other feeling I really dunno...Is it cause i'm just afraid? or isit cause i have low self esteem? ahaha..wo feng le..think i'm seriously tired...but nvm ba..i only know that one day..i'll tell the right person at the right time..anw..Its seriously nothing that will affect anyone seriously..its just me..and something very private..so dont worry...I believe things will just turn out fine..:)

Meanwhile, maybe i'll just blog about some thoughts that have always stood within my mind...since i dunno when...However, i've always felt it was unnecessary to talk too deeply into it...but since i've started this post...I might as well talk about it.....

Well..have anyone of u felt like its really tough being a human or a person? There's just too much to think about...too much to expect..too much to do...and too much to feel...ok..this has gotta be the most pessimistic post i'm ever gonna post..I hope....lol...Yes..there are actually things to be optimistic about in life rite...definitely...such as love, friendship, family, religion, the ability to feel, to think and to care...but there are definitely times when the difficulties in life actually start surfacing...However, I also know and understand how important it is to get over and through these difficulties...since they are what makes a person grow up...from a boy to a man..from a girl to a fine lady..and of course..i've been thru all these difficulties too...and like my parents always tell me "there are no difficulties in life that cannot be solved..there is ALWAYS a way..." Yes..there's always a way...but still the difficulties are so real...they are UNAVOIDABLE too...so that is why, regardless of all the optimism in life...being a human is just way too difficult..zuo4 ren2 heng3 nan2...

Well..i'll come up with some short examples..so u can relate to what i'm thinking about...

Have everyone noticed that when someone writes about what his/her 'hates' in their profiles in friendster...when they blog...in tags...on msn...there's something that appear most of the time... "I hate backstabbers!" "I hate Liars!" " I hate hypocrites!" But ppl who post these are actually hypocrites/liars/backstabbers themselves...and pls...dont come denying..cause even i myself dont dare to deny...lol..(Why do i sound so angry...just a word of assurance...i'm not..and i'm fully ok..and i'm not directing this at ANYONE at all..i swear..so no worries..i'm just voicing out some thoughts and feelings...so just read on if u're not bored..:P) But what i said still remain true...that there was definitely a time u talked about someone else...complained about someone else...and i'm sure it was NEVER just once...Just think...U talk about how much u hate liars/hypocrites..but deep inside u must already have an idea of who u are talking about...I mean...who would say "Eh the chilli from that chicken rice stall is too spicy" when u havent eaten anything from that stall rite? There must be someone in mind...who have acted this way in front of u...or even worse..he might have acted this way unto u..so let me just ask...can u be very sure u havent complained about this person? U havent talked to someone else about him? U havent convinced urself that he is that way? U say u hate him deep within...but u dont tell him...isnt that hypocritism by itself? See...we're all hypocrites...and if u say u hate liars...u must really hate yourself...lol...cause let us look DEEP inside our hearts..can we be sure we havent lied in our whole lives before? Even when we were a toddler...we've already started lying...but because we couldnt put it in words..so we cry instead...we weren't exactly sad...we were just stubborn and sought attention...thats the real reason y we actually cried...haha..we were such liars..lol..So the next time u complain how much u hate liars, hypocrites and backstabbers...think about how much of a liar, hypocrite and backstabber u are..lol..and of course..although we are all like that...there are definitely different degrees hypocritism and backstabbing...lets just say that most of us are of the lowest degree...while others are more towards the higher degrees...so for ppl who dont like ppl like that..TRY not to act like one..haha...but we will never be able to deny the fact that we are all like that...the only difference is..more or less...lol..so its so hard to be a person..U have to think so much about how u are like...or whether someone is like that to u..its so hard even to be nice..since humans do not really trust each other alot due to their super high intelligence...lol...sounds so pessimistic...dont worry...we all dont think that much most of the time...but we all know that these thoughts have always been at the back of our minds...haha...oh well...

Well of course there is also the part about expectations and misunderstandings...

We all expect things...we are greedy too...but we often deny them..hoping that we would leave good impressions...expectations are deadly...they often lead to disappointments for the expecting and immense stress to the expected...and even if we dont expect/are not expected..we have this fear in ourselves that we would not be able to live up to them...its complicating...but we all understand how that feels...I mean...if we study..why are we so upset when we do badly for exams? isnt it cause we had expected better results? Why do we work so hard and feel so sad if we get fired? isnt it cause we had expected ourselves to provide a good life for our families? And why do couples quarrel at times...isnt it cause of expectations? well at least for most cases....and of course its sometimes hard to fulfill these expectations cause we are unaware of them...and everyday we wake up hoping that we will be able to fulfill the expectations we have set for ourselves and also the expectations given to us by others....However, there are definitely times when with common understanding, we will be able to satisfy these expectations without even the other party voicing them out...but like i said...ppl are greedy...so ya...we all know what happens after that...lol...I think i'm really talking about life too pessimistically...Not everyone is like that...I myself know a few..including the person who has been making me happy nowadays...

After typing so much...i think i've vomitted enough things out...I'm really showed some pessimism there and felt that life is sometimes not that bad...althought these are the real facts in life - humans are not all pure...expectations are real..and its not easy being one... But as long as we cherish what we have..and treasure the moments...i'm sure these things can be kept deep behind our heads for as long as we can hold them...I just hope we can all learn to understand each other and think in each other's shoes so that everyone will be much happier ba...I mean...arent we all happier if the people around us are happier too?

Hey all..have been posting some rubbish for quite some time..lol..but anyway i still hope they were some funny rubbish..and had managed to crack some ppl up..lol..well anw i received feedback from Jin Zi that i should blog more about my feelings..haha i guess she's right...afterall this is a blog where we talk about our most inner feelings...:)

Well..just a quick update about what has been going on..hmm..well..i just watched Shi4 bai2 de4 man 3 at Cathay 2 days ago..haha i must say that they skipped some parts of the cartoon..i guess they wanted to squeeze in too many scenes this time..I was thinking "Why sand man??" There are so many cooler characters to work on..but they chose the sand man..which i honestly didnt know who he is till i watched the movie..sorry..lol..and the funny thing is when i first watched the trailer in early april..i thought the sandman guy was Brock A.K.A Venom...cause he was muscular...had the frowning face all the time..and those broad shoulders...see...they totally fit the description of venom...but...sigh...he HAD to be the sandman..oh well...

I mean..there are so many other nice evil villians in Spiderman...

Actually the greatest disappointment from the movie was actually the real venom..i mean...the first thing i asked when i saw him...was like "is that VENOM??!" cause if it is..then venom must have been eating tomatos and lettuces for his three meals..:( He's just too skinny to be venom le! And he SPEAKS!! lol...I thought he only made noises like RawRArarARrAR all the time..lol..Anw..the symbiotes still cool and for the animations...I'll give it a 9/10..they are AMAZING! heh... The digital media industry is really a cool one to be in now...how i wish i was as artistically inclined in drawing as Jeremy..lol..but the good thing is i'll be going into computer engineering soon..so maybe i still got chance to be part of a Game Development Team or something in future..lol...we'll see...

Anyway i just wanted to compare the venom in the movie and the venom in the cartoon...

Lol..now u guys get what i meant?? Ok..i must say the whole outlook was great...the teeth...the tongue...the big eyes...and his actions and animation done on him was almost perfect...but the sad thing is...the venom in the show really look too...tiny...too skinny...it looks like an "after" picture from a slimming center's advertisement..lol...oh well...

But still Spiderman 3 is an fantastic 2 hours + show that everyone should watch...although they have really rushed into certain scenes to keep the show within the time limit (Which also happened for DeathNote 2...). But luckily the amazing graphics and special effects kept it alive...go watch it k! Its definitely worth it...:)

Oh btw..i was researching on whether there was going to be a Spiderman 4...and i found a website...with this picture....

OMG! Its mysterio!! Spiderman 4 could have the appearance of Mysterio!! YES! I'm so looking forward to that...but of course..we dunno if this pic is just a scam and spiderman 4 might just be a rumour...but i guess i will just want to believe that Spiderman 4 will come out...since the Spiderman cartoon didnt really get exciting till near the end of the series...when there was Carnage...Six-armed spider man...bla bla bla..haha...so let us all look forward to that ya?? YOZ All! I'm back to blog again! *Fireworks*

Lol...anyway i just realised i havent really been doing my job as an entertainer-for-life on my blog...I was like readin thru my entries and realised they were pretty boring...(ok now's the time for u guys to actually tag and tell me "hey..its not that bad what...") heh..but anw..my colleagues in Singtel Mio dept have sent me some of the funniest pictures i've ever seen online..and for the next few entries..i'll try to post all of them up to 'entertain' u guys..lol..After careful consideration and serious planning with my board of directors..i've decided to post the pics a few at a time..haha..this will force blogees to come more often to check for updates..hence allowing more ppl to see my blog..wahahha!! Ok...the reason why i've decided to call this the 'PWNED' chapter is...well..cause..the pics i'm gonna show u clearly defines the meaning of the word 'pwned'.. lol and for cute lil boys/girls who do not know what pwned means...here's the definition from Wikepedia :

An eventful K box trip!

No..this is not a primary school composition topic..although it really looks like one..lol..but anw I've decided to post about a fun day at Kbox yesterday..:D Although no pictures were taken..but i supposed my extremely powderful england can make u guys imagine the wonderful day i had..:P

Well..it all started with me waking up in the morning..and brushing my teeth with my little green toothbrush and the blue colour colgate toothpaste...........right...ok..So after that i msged Jin Zi to ask if she wanna go shopping..haha cause I was supposed to buy conditioner, scrub, ram, and erm underwear...cause..well..nvm..shant elaborate too much in my blog..yupx..and so we planned, met under her block and prepared to embark on 'JOURNEY TO THE NORTH EAST' to get the items..at PS..heh..

We reached PS around 2..and decided to go Carrefour to see if i can find any of the stuff..we walked around..only to find out that there wasnt any dept that was selling conditioner and stuff..or maybe we just didnt walk thoroughly enough..then Jin Zi was telling me that she actually saw me and jeremy playing keyboard at Carrefour a long long time ago..haha what a small world rite? But it does bring back memories...*Flashback* Jeremy and I used to just hang out around Carrefour and give free performances..we would each take one keyboard..and i would play songs while he does the drums..sometimes ppl will start standing there to listen..heh and we would enjoy our few minutes of fame while enjoying our lil jamming session for fre..LOL... *end of flashback*

Heh..so we couldnt find any conditioner or scrub..and then we saw the other item i needed too..BRIEFS! heh..we walked slightly closer only to find out that...they were for kids =_=|| sigh..oh well..so in the end we couldnt and didnt buy anything..haha and i guess we were too lazy to walk anymore..hee...in the end i was thinking that maybe we can go sing K box! since we were like singing some songs along the way..haha and i suddenly got the 'kick' to go sing song..haha..so we decided to walk towards Kbox Paradiz Center..:)

On the way we met some funny ppl..but i think i only remember two guys wearing a scarf...no no i mean two guys each wearing one scarf each..ya and i think it looked kinda strange..but lol..nothing else interesting along the way...and when we finally reached Paradiz Center..we had the greatest disappointment of our lives..........Kbox paradiz was only opened after seven.....*Kneels down...Spot light on us...Starts to rain...* sigh..so sad..cant believe we walked so far only to find out it was closed...oh well..we had to move on..its not the end of the world..lol..on the way back..Jin Zi told me she was hungry...again...lol! so i asked if she wanted to have something at the food court and i really dunno y but after that we just walked out without eating anything..lol...and its back to PS....

On the way back..i still had the strong urge to sing..so we decided to go to Kbox Cineleisure....yupx..we took train and when we reached there..there were super lots of ppl..and we had to take a room that was super bright..LOL..cause it was near the window..funny thing is they could have just bought a cloth and used it as a curtain...but the management didnt care...so...no choice..i dont wanna go another place le..haha just wanna sing.. and so the session begins...lol..

Sang super lots of songs..and it started from 'gui ji' by Jay Chou and i started singing first to warm up..lol..right after that we took turns to sing..and the whole frenzy began..we just kept singing and singing and singing and singing..lol..it was so fun la! Songs included Tian Shi, Jue Jiang, Sun wukong, Zhi Zu, Dang Ni, Yu Shang Ai, Tui Hou, An Jing, Ju hua tai, Shou Qian Shou, Qian li zhi wai, Ai ni bu shi liang san tian, Yong qi, Huo yuan jia, ETC ETC..hahaha..at the end of the day i think i couldnt speak properly..:) Anw i just realised how well Jin Zi can sing..her tone is natural and very sweet to the ear..haha we even sang some duets together! It was the first time i was able to sing duets with a girl properly and so nicely..haha..so cool la..good training for my He Ying also..lol we sang Shan Hu Hai, Wu ding, Zhi zao lang man and liang san buo yu zhu li ye...haha the rest of the duets that Jin Zi chose all i never hear b4 de..haha so we didnt sing..heh this means i'm that old after all..haha :P sorry jin zi! haha kidding k! Yup...i really like singing the duets la..esp with Jin Zi..haha next time we'll sing together again K? :) Anw i would say the whole session was fun, crazy, sweet, high, tiring and shiok! haha..i think we went crazy when we sang Huo Yuan Jia..lol..shant elaborate too much..:P So after the whole session ended, we went to have dinner at some jap cafe kind of place..Oh..anw recently i've developed this habit to say "Yi da dakimas!" before i have my meals..LOL..and its becoming such a strong habit that i sometimes do it at home accidentally..and then my parents would be like O_O lol...i guess i'm really getting the jap fever...:P

Dinosaur Fever...Again...

Hi all! Glad to see ppl tagging FINALLY..lol..friends and enemies...kindly get ppl you know to read this magnificient blog of mine cause it is still rather quiet around here..haha..although there's not much point in reading about my life..but HEY! at least u will get to know me...LOL...Oh well~ Cant be bothered le..haha just come read ba..i will update regularly le lo..:) Anw i'm blogging from work..and ARGH! Its 6.30! Work's Over! Time to log out! Continue this post when i reach home.. LOL!!

Ok..I said i would continue this post when i reached home yesterday..but..i guess the lazy bones got the better of me...and well..at the same time..i was "dancing" the whole time..in AUDITION i mean..lol..and for game idiots..do visit http://www.auditionSEA.comfor more information or just to join us in the game :) So there...after dancing it was already 1.47am..so i didnt blog..end of story..lol..and now..i'm actually blogging from work again..I mean I get paid $7.50 per hour! Of course i must do something useful rite? like blogging....so yeah..enough of my work..back to my topic :P

Well..this few days i've started researching on dinosaurs again..LOL..i remember i wanted to be an archaeologist one point in life..I think it was primary four or something..when Jurassic Park 1 was shown in theatres..lol..the huge lizard thingys just captivated me alot..imagine how earth was like in the past...one super huge land and millions of super huge animals walking around...imagine birds that are same size as humans... imagine four legged monsters that make humans look like part of their toe nail...i mean we could even be one of the blings blings when they go for their pedicure session..lol...anw..that was when i had this crazy dream to revive them..haha...maybe by extracting DNA from their bones and inputting them into an elephant's egg or something..ok..a dream..will be just a dream..haha..

Anw..i felt like posting about some facts i found out about these creatures so that i wont forget and at the same time educate my blogees..lol..but dont worry..i dont intend to change my blog address to http://educator-for-life.blogspot.com anytime soon..:P

1) Do you know that the dinosaurs were among the most successful animals ever to live on the Earth. Their reign lasted over 100 million years and i got a feeling they are so gonna 'pwn' (own) the human race..lol..

2) When dinosaurs first appeared about 230 million years ago, the world was very different. The continents of the triassic Earth were configured differently to today. All the land masses on the planet were joined together into one huge continent called Pangaea. This stretched from pole to pole and its central region was a vast inhospitable desert. Imagine..u can actually drive from singapore to london..if u had petrol stations along the way that is..

3)About 20 million years before the appearance of the first dinosaurs, the biggest extinction the world had ever known had occurred. Over 90% of all plant and animal species then alive on land and in the sea had died out at this time. Even in the Late Triassic the world was still recovering, and there was not the usual variety of life normally found on earth. It took more than 10 million years before ecosystems recovered and complex systems and larger animals took even longer.

Could you believe that even before the dinosaurs appeared..a biggest extinction has already occurred..everything was wiped out..for the arrival of the dinosaurs...and yes..there was NO SUCH THING as grass when the dinosaurs arrived...so if one day u do watch any documentaries with a dinosaur walking on this beautiful grass patch...u can think about switching it off already...no point watching cause it couldnt have existed..but i wonder if the next extinction is coming soon..since any comet / meteorite can just strike Earth without warning and its goodbye to everyone...so all i can say now is..cherish who u have around u..and do what u like to do when u're still healthy and young..:P

Ok..after seeing these common dinosaurs...u think u might have already seen most of them..but nooooo...there are some other amazing dinosaurs that we might not have known about...

Well..lets see the carnivores...

We used to think (or at least i used to think) that the most powerful carnivore during the jurassic period is the T-rex..but there are actually other fearsome carnivores that we always overlook...heres some of them..:D

Allosaurus

Some facts:
1) The Allosaurus can grow up to a length of 9.7m.
2) Its most distinctive feature was a pair of blunt horns, just above and in front of the eyes.

Giganotosaurus

Some facts:
1)Giganotosaurus means Giant Southern Lizard in ancient greek.
2)It is one of the largest known terrestrial carnivores, and is actually longer than Tyrannosaurus-Rex.
3)It can grow to a maximum of 14 meters long and 5.5 meters tall.

Megalosaurus

Some facts:
1) Megalosaurus means Great Lizard in greek.
2) It is about nine metres in length.

Spinosaurus

Most people think that the T-rex is actually the strongest and most fearsome carnivorous dinosaur. But it has recently been PROVEN and CONFIRMED that there is actually a much strongest meat-eating dinosaur that walked our earth..and thats actually the Spinosaurus. The Spinosaurus actually appeared in Jurassic Park 3..and did face off with the T-rex..

Cosplay Fever!

Hey all...Well..i'm blogging from work again..:) Thanks to those who have showed concern through tags, msn, sms...u guys know who u are...thanks for cheering me up..:)

Anyway..i've been going crazy over cosplay...yup..and for those simple minded frogs in a well who have no idea what cosplay is, i've found its definition from wikipedia for u guys..:P

Cosplay (コスプレ, kosupure?), a contraction of the English words "costume" and "play", is a Japanese subculture centered on dressing as characters from manga, anime, tokusatsu, and video games, and, less commonly, Japanese live action television shows, fantasy movies, or Japanese pop music bands. However, in some circles, "cosplay" has been expanded to mean simply wearing a costume.

Yup...so to put it simply..cosplayers are ppl who actually spend their precious pocket money to make the costumes of anime/game characters so that.....erm...so that...hmm seriously i cant think of a reason why..maybe it looks cool...haha...but after looking at some of the naruto cosplayers..i've got this feeling i might actually try it one day when i have the chance...i mean..hey..isnt it cool to look like characters from a fantasy world? *silence*... *TOTAL silence* =_= ok ok..i get it...

Anyway..here are some amazing cosplayers for Naruto..check them out..for ppl who do not know the characters..its ok..cause i've actually uploaded the pics from the anime for reference...haha..so...let the pictures do the talking now...:P

First...i'll introduce Zabuza..
Zabuza was an exiled ninja from the hidden village of the mist.. Exiled meaning he betrayed his village and do not listen to anybody's orders now..He works for himself and only accepts money for dirty assisination job. He carries this HUGE sword with an arc somewhere in the middle. He calls it his decapitating sword...Here's how he looks like..

I dont really know why he keeps his face covered..but i suspect it has something to do with the the burning of forests in Sumatra few months ago...*waits for laughter...* hmm *silence...* ok...Back to cosplay...here's the guy who cosplays him...

Too bad he doesnt carry that sword..but hey..its really one of the best i've seen!

Next..we move on to Anko and her fellow chunnin examiners. Anko is actually one of the examiners in the recent chunnin exam. The chunnin exam is the exam to determine who becomes a chunnin (i mean duh...) who is actually a squad leader. Unlike the other chunnin examiners, Anko is actually a Jounin who is a higher ranked leader. She wears this coat and this netting tight fit clothing ( :P~) inside it...but i think i havent seen her take off that coat before...heh anw here's her pic together with her chunnin examiners..

Yup i couldnt find one where 3 of them were together so i used paint to add them together (my office only has ms paint...so no choice ya..)

Here's Inuzuka Kiba...Kiba is one of the nine rookie ninjas were were selected for the chunnin exams...He has this extremely cute pet dog called akamaru..He comes from the clan where dogs are their weapons...Akamaru never leaves him and will fight with its life when engaged in a battle...During battle, Kiba is able to carry out the Beast Mimicry, Half Beast Clone technique where akamaru would turn into his clone and fight with him..Here's the pic..

And the cosplayer(s)...Amazing...

Haha..i personally think this is the nicest cosplay among the rest...

:) Now to Uchiha Itachi...Itachi is one of the bad guys in the series...basically i dont really know alot about him cause i'm still at episode 96...but he has appeared quite a number of times already...he's the older brother of Uchiha Sasuke and was from the famous and powerful Uchiha Clan...They possess the bloodline limit - the Sharingan and are able to see through moves and even copy them...He has this extremely scary ability where he puts u into an illusion and can practically do anything to u and make u suffer endlessly...the sufferings including sticking knives continuosly into you..the scary thing is u feel the pain but cant die...so he keeps doing that till u go crazy...(ouch..) Itachi wiped out his whole clan in one night and has been hunted by Sasuke since then...:) enough of him...lets look at his pic...

Next on the list we have Tsunade...

Tsunade is this ba ba (meaty) character who loves gambling. She is one of the legendary Sannins (dont care about sannin if u dont know what it is...just take note of the word "legendary") who in the end took up the title of Hokage...well...Hokage...in layman's term is...just the big big boss of the village who knows a lot of techniques and is the leader of all ninjas in the hidden village of Konoha...er...the leaf village...Hm..nothing more i want to talk about her...but to all the guys who are going to scroll down...Pls...control your emotions and testosterone (spelling correct?) so that u dont end up..er...nvm...this is a rated 'G' (General) blog..so i shall leave that aside...

Well...it seems not many ppl visit my blog...so maybe that will mean i'll be free to say things that are more private already...well its hard for me...cause there are things that i just cant blog about..today i really feel like talking about it..but cause i cant really make this post "private" (or at least i dunno how to..) I'll still moderate what i say...true friends will understand...ppl close to me will too...so dont ask...just feel...

Sigh..i'm sure everyone has gone thru these b4...u do something...or u dont do something...only to regret after it has happened...u blame yourself...but its no use..u close your eyes and wish that things werent like that...but no..no one will ever hear your prayers...u look down at the water flowing down your body as you bathe...u wish that after showering...things will reset...just like how u would feel much fresher after u switch off the tap...however...thats not the case...things are still the same...u sit there and stone..u start to think...think of all the possibilities if u hadnt done that or if u had...but only to think "its too late" and regret again...u wish u had super powers to turn back time......................but time and tide awaits no man...u lose... well...i've been going thru this whole process...but things will never change..ok maybe a little...but still u think back and then u regret...rite? :(

Another one of these feelings is when u try hard to make someone happy..and u try really hard...and yes..u do succeed and everyone is happy...but one wrong move...and thats it..both parties are unhappy...but deep inside u know...its really not your fault..u had your reasons...but is it of any use? What does that person see? A reason? or an excuse? What about the things u've tried to do just to make that someone happy? Does that someone see it? I dunno....u blame yourself for doing that ONE thing...you ask yourself...why did things have to turn out this way...cant that ONE thing be forgotten? since u've done so much more other things that made that someone happy...its really hard to be an entertainer..."K" was right...the song "the entertainer" has a hidden meaning...somehow it makes u think of the person behind that smiling mask..i mean..who's happy all the time? I very xing ku..can someone just understand? You dont even have to cheer me up...u just have to understand...I just wan to talk about my problems..i just wan to show u my sad face...I just want to say...deep down inside...it hurts...but i cant...and u know y? cause i'm a stupid idiot...i believe that if i can make others happy..i'll be happy...i always tell ppl...ppl's happiness are more impt than mine...i act like i'm some hero...i act like i'm some great person who is never down...i put on a mask...and the mask is always smiling...i dance...i sing...i joke...i show my magic...i tease...i make fun of myself...i do stupid things to make myself look stupid...I let ppl make fun of me...just to make everyone happy.......i'm dumb rite? yes...dumb is the word...and what happens when i want to tell ppl how i feel deep down inside? They either dunno how to help me...or they dont like it when i'm down...and what happens? I smile and tell them..."haha its ok! Anw...u know that day............" there...another stupid joke...and everyone laughs...I'm just so helpless........and its sadder when things that i try hard to do for someone is not appreciated.......and forgotten just because of a small mistake....or something i really wasnt able to do.............i'm only a human u know? I've already tried............

There are even times i just wan to believe....that someday...someone will be my entertainer...but regardless of how much i put in...i always end up putting in too much and getting hurt in the end...y? i mean...is giving in too much wrong? is being really nice wrong? I really dunno...I just want to care...show concern...and love..but i always end up like this........hurt..tired..and neglected...its so hard......to be a zhixiang...

Hi all...i'm blogging again...and blogging from work...felt like writing a random post to keep my bloggees(Bloggees??!) entertained...haha..and no..i'm not going to write a long entry like last time...or my collegue is gonna help me find a publisher to publish my novel...so...i'll keep it short...................ok ok i'll TRY to...:P

Today our chunnin (squad leader is not working again...) She keeps pon-ning when i'm around =_= now i want to take leave on sunday also cannot...sigh...cause tonight i'm attending my jie's(wanping) 21st birthday party at her house! haha..everyone is turning 21 and its the 2nd party of the year for me..haha...everyone is turning adult....lol..everyone is going to enter that cruel society of ours soon...thats so sadddddd...but oh well...as i was saying i cant take leave on sunday..and i dunno when's the party going to end tonight...and hopefully i will be able to wake up the next morning..sigh...oh and for those ppl who dunno..my 5 day shift this week is Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday AND Sunday...tsk...which means my weekend has been burned...destoryed...terminated...shredded...ANNIHILATED!! ok.....it actually feels like i'm back in the army..and maybe i punched my superior...which caused me to be confined for my weekends.....sigh..oh well no choice...this is life..and this is the life that i was talking about...after u hit 21.....but hey..its so unfair..i'm still 20+...tsk...too bad..haha..its all for the experience...so after digressing from the topic for so long...i'll go back to what i was talking about..as i was saying..tonight is my jie's 21 bday party...I'll be going after my work...definitely looking forward to it..cant wait to trick those aunties and uncles with my magic tricks..lol...i remember i went for jin zi's birthday party in January and that was what i did..i performed for the aunties and uncles...and they were like... "You see...cards cannot play one...you see he so young and he can do this kind of thing...ya...thats y...cards cannot play one..." cant believe i was actually able to convince them that playing cards = possibility of getting tricked = lose money... well.. cant blame them though..i was able to change a King into an Ace easily...and i was also able to teleport card from their hands to mine in a blink of an eye...haha...well...i remember one of the uncles asked if the auntie wanted to invite me to their next game..haha so maybe i can help them get a blackjack every round...lol...u see...like i always say...Magic IS indeed a universal language...girls wow...guys envy...auntie/uncles wow and envy and invite me to play blackjack with them..lol..singapore should really employ me to be the spokesperson for the quit-gambling campaign..then i will be able to convince ppl not to gamble...lol...ok ok thats it..tonight i'm gonna trick more aunties and uncles..hmm......lets put it nicely...i'm gonna entertain them...:)

So the calls have been coming in non-stop and i've been typing and hello-ing and typing and hello-ing...sort of forgotten what i wanted to blog....hmm...OH YA..i know already...today i woke up at 9.16am when my shift was like 9.30am!! I woke up and thought "yawn...what time is it..." I rubbed my eyes and slowly sat up to look at my alarm clock...9.....16.....*rub eyes* "oh..its only 9...................SIXTEEN?!?!?!! " After that, everything happened too fast for to remember most of the details...I remember jumping out of bed and found out that one of my legs couldnt move...most probably cause of leg cramp...then i was hopping to the door...yes..hopping like a one legged frog...then i remember i stopped for a while to see if my leg's condition will improve...but unfortunately i still felt those ants crawling around my feet (for ppl who have cramp b4..u know what i mean)..so i continued hopping to the bathroom and brushed my teeth on one leg...and of course i did it in a record time of 2.390485 minutes...yes..and then it was a mad rush to my room to change...to the bathroom again to style hair..then to my room to take 1 pair of socks...ONLY to find out that i had no more socks in my drawer...so its a 100m sprint to my laundry area to find washed socks...argh! Too wet! back to my room for new socks...I took out a pair of un-opened socks and took my bag and ya u guys know the rest...soon i was downstairs waiting for a cab..i looked at the time..9.30am....thats it...i'm late...I crossed the road only to see one auntie waiting for cab as well..so i asked "erm..are u waiting for a cab?" and she nodded her head, while showing me that sly smile of hers...grr...so no choice..i had to queue up..blablabla i finally got a cab...reached singtel at 9.45am and was totally late...sigh....sad...oh well..late le jiu suan le ba (Direct translation: late already then calculate already ; Real meaning: since i'm late...so be it...) and its back to the "Good morning singtel mio how may i assist u" routine...=\

So there...I shant write more...now u know how happening my saturday is...lol...Hope u guys have a better weekend k? if not have a lousy one so that i feel much better about mine...:P Ciao~

My Job as a Ninja...

Hey all! I'm back...and I'm actually blogging while at work...lol...but i mean who cares..our team leader is not in today...so everyone is practically playing games...youtubing and reading books...but UNLIKE the others...i'm a hardworking individual who takes pride in my work...so........i'll blog about my job...lol...so has anyone been trying to figure out why the title is written as 'my job as a ninja'? well...thats simply cause i've been rather hooked on naruto these days but i wanted to blog about my job too...so...i wanted to come up with a more creative name...so there....but its not necessarily untrue since i do work as a ninja at times...i mean i have to be really discreet when i'm blogging...i've to constantly strain my eyes and mind to make sure that there is no sign of ninjas from other cubicals looking at me; and place my mouse pointer on the minimise button at all times to make sure that i'll be able to conceal my activities at a record time of 0.1357865 seconds if I feel the presence of my team leader...my team leader is a formidable chunnin (Squad leader) whose ninja technique includes the 'surprising technique'. This is an incredible technique that allows her to suddenly appear behind a person any time. The scariest part of this technique is that u wont even feel the presence of her chakra(energy of every single cell in your body) when she appears behind you. Now...that is why i said that working like a ninja can be considered as part of my jobscope...ok...enough of my obsession with naruto (actually i've met someone who's more obsessed..tell u guys more later..) Lets just get on with the topic...my job and my naruto.....

Oh btw...i've just infused some naruto terms into your head...wahahha...sneaky huh...;P

Ok..back to my job...for ppl who have lost contact with me...or havent been asking me 'How are u?'..just to inform u guys that i'm actually working as a Customer Service Officer in Singtel...the call center is situated at Serangoon Ave 5 and its 6 stops from Ang Mo Kio...its so near that my friend and i actually walked to my house one day after work...yup...but i remember it was a long long walk....lol...oh well...so what i do as a CSO is to wear a headset...wait for a sound that goes 'beep beep' and say "Hello. Good morning/afternoon Singtel Mio." And then the next thing I usually hear will be something like this "@#$%^&*@#$%^". After that, i'll finish up my job with "Thank you for calling Singtel. Have a nice day. Bye." And then turn to the person beside me and start complaining...lol....so thats practically what i do everyday...but actually sometimes its not really that bad...like just 1 min ago (by the way i'm typing and waiting for that beep beep sound) I was just on the line with this lady and helping her on her enquiries...One thing i noticed when i started talking to her was that incredibly sweet voice...and then images of how she might looked like appeared...haha she began talking to me like i was her friend (i think she was trying to flirt with me). If i'm not wrong she should be some young girl waiting for entry into some instituition...I didnt ask...I couldnt....but she kept giggling and talking about how much she would save with mio plan...lol...and after the call she was like "byebyeeeeee." Lol...if only all the calls were like this.....not because its a sweet girl..but because its NOT a noisy auntie...lol...i hope she won't grow up and evolve into one...oh well...so basically thats what i've been doing everyday for the past one month...:)

Nothing much to talk about the job anymore so lets go on with my naruto...and i'll introduce some of my collegues along the way....well...I've actually started watching Naruto when i was still serving the army...but because army took up so much of my time...i wasnt able to enjoy the show fully...i had to watch a lil bit at a time...so i decided to stop halfway......well finally after 1 year of so...i ORD-ed and i was back in action...i started re-watching the anime and once again i'm stuck to my computer screen every night again...sigh..but its definitely worth it...since its one of the best Animes ever produced in Japan...other than Bleach...I mean...naruto hasnt stopped coming out with new episodes even up till now...There's already like 220 naruto episodes(Calculate how long this series has lasted...if its 1 episode per week) and they are not stopping there...a new Naruto series is out - Naruto Shippuden and its only at episode 5 now...which means its gonna be a long long time before the whole series will finish...lol...ok ok i dont work for tokyo tv but i enjoy promoting naruto to everyone...haha just recently...i've actually introduced 2 of my collegues at Singtel...I dunno if they want me to reveal their names so i'll just call them J and C. Both of them didnt seem like the kind of ppl who would actually watch Naruto..but trust me...after just watching the first few...they couldnt stop...in fact...now both of them are actually watching so much faster than me...I mean...i used to tease them about spoiling their show because i was like the one who introduced them and i know more than them..but now the tables have been turned...i'm now so afraid that they will actually talk about it in front of me and cause a spoiler...arghh...how could this be...between the 2 i think C is the most obsessed one...she actually watched 12 episodes in one night and spent one whole weekend watching naruto...all in all i think she only took 2 weeks to reach episode 83...which is like....wow...lol...never did i expect her to be so hooked...haha..there's some other naruto fans in Singtel as well..but i figured that this blog entry is becoming longer and longer...so i think i had better leave the introduction to another entry...boon tien(the guy beside me) just asked me if i was typing a novel...i was like..."sharks...i cant stop!!" But i really cant...I have too much too say...lol...ok i'll keep the next paragraph short...but all in all i just want to say...NARUTO ROX!

Anyway..this paragraph is for the screen shot i promised u guys from the previous post...basically i've been playing an online game - http://www.naruto-arena.com and its actually a game where u choose your team to battle against another around the world...This is a screenshot of how it looks like at the character selection screen...

My Music...

Yoz! Just came back from work not too long ago...sigh..it really sucks to work on saturdays...cause it makes the weekends feel so short...and its like friday just ended but look at the time! Its already 4.06pm..sigh..oh well..the worse thing is I have nothing on for the weekends -.- Gahs...So no life de...luckily Jeremy just messaged me...asking me if i wanna join him for dinner..cause he's coming over to amk to buy 4D for his mum...lol..ok anw..thats later...now i'm just gonna continue my life story from where i stopped at my previous post (for ppl who had lost contact with me or just wanna know me better...) and on my way home i was thinking "Hmm..maybe i'll update on everyone about my music today..." lol..and i'm actually blogging while playing a game called naruto arena (http://www.naruto-arena.com) Naruto fans should go play this...its an multiplayer online game where u can form your own ninja teams and battle in an arena...no animation provided and no music...most importantly it helps u waste your time...haha but actually its a little addictive...at least for me..and for now...lol...i'll post some screenshots and explain a bit on the gameplay on my next post...meanwhile...back to my music...:)

Hmm..lets start with a little history lesson...I started writing my own songs when I was as young as 17..(ok the 'as young as' was just to make it sound like i'm some child prodigy..) but the fact is I started writing my first song in Lecture Theatre 4 in AJC at the end of J1 i think...well..as most of you should (or maybe not?) know that my first song is called 'Yong Heng De Ai' or eternal love when translated into english...It was actually written after a breakup..and you can say that it is actually a cry of hope for an enternal love...hmmmm ok thats just to make the song sound more meaningful...but i remembered sitting down in front of the piano in LT4 and playing in front of kianhuat (lyricist), wanping (jie) and jin zi (bobby)..it is true that i was terribly hurt by the girl then and that I almost went into a state of depression...but fortunately my friends supported and held on to me..telling me that the right one will come soon...I believed them..and I trusted them...so i started to hope...and this hope led to me composing one of the nicest songs i've ever written..'Enternal love' (I will post this up as soon as i find a reliable file host that will not crash and allows only streaming...anyone know of any? tag pls...) This song brought me to the talent time finals in AJC and I'll never forget the time when me and kianhuat was specially invited to sing this song in front of AJC again in a guitar concert...It was a moment of fame for all of us...and it was the song I first composed...:)

Ok..that was how it all started..and as of today..i'm proud to announce that I've finished composing 7 songs...from pop ballades, rock, country and recently big band style(think new york new york)...I will post this songs up as soon as possible for everyone to enjoy...but this few weeks i've working more on my second song (xing fu de ding yi) with my band...well...I havent got a chance to take a photo of all 4 members...but they are Jeremy Goh(Drummer), Cheston(Guitarist), Desmond(Lead singer/guitarist) and Zhi Xiang(Keyboardist)...and here's our band logo...

Nice rite? this was designed by Jeremy and he did it in an amazing 30 minutes...He's really the artist among the 4 of us...and in fact he had actually designed some stuff for AJC as well...which includes Point X (our mama shop) and this huge wall outside our band (AJC symphonic band...not my band..:P) room..I mean..he really amazes ppl with his art skills man...oh well...but everyone has their strengths..so nothing to be envious about...lol :P

Ok..back to the band...so like i was saying...i've recently formed a little band and we call ourselves 'Popconz'. And y popconz? well..initially Jeremy and I came up with the name when we walked pass this popcon store (i think) outside hougang mall...then we were thinking...pop con can = pop icon = ppl who play pop...EUREKA! Popconz!!! ok ok i can see that some of u have the =_= face already..but who cares..mi lu bing also won in the finals...so y not popconz...and i have told my fellow members that we will be a band that plays our own original music...we will not only play music...we will create music...we will make music...:) well...everyone sort of have a role in the band...like desmond writes lyrics..cheston is the technical expert...jeremy does technical, music demos and arranges...and me, zhixiang composes the songs...i mean isnt this cool?? An original band with an original band name..playing original songs..and supports original stuff.................hmmm...not too sure about the last part...but ANYWAY...music is my life...and I will never stop making music...sadly I'm losing inspiration these few days...sigh...can someone be my inspiration pls?? :P

Ok...so i'll end off here first...will update more about my job..my life..my sorrows...my problems...my magic...my friends...my family...my naruto....the next time when i blog again...

A New Beginning...

Zhi Xiang's blog is finally up and running again..For ppl who do know me and understand me...they know that something must have happened in my life again...or i wouldnt be blogging...either that or i have written some new songs...which i actually have..but the main reason would be...i have started to see many ugly sides of people all around us...and i know to some...i may actually possess this ugly side too...but now i know...how it feels to actually be a victim of one...not that i havent felt it before..but this time...it has become really clear to me...I shall elaborate when i have the energy to think and type...but right now..i just want to say hi to all the people who have once again come to my blog and sought to understand me...I thank u all...thanks for being around...thanks for trying to understand...the feelings of an entertainer...:)
